Narrowing Selecta from 1280 px to 768 px could leave 672 px controls and an 88 px preview. Panel sizing now measures the workspace and actual divider: 768 px gives 400/8/360 px. Preferred sidebar width stays separate from the rendered width, so shrinking constrains immediately and expanding restores the preference. Pointer, keyboard, startup/restore and separator ARIA use the same limits.
The verified R02 prerequisite at 954f71d is merged into this branch normally, including its main baseline 8662ce5. Conflicts were resolved without rewriting history or restoring legacy UI. Current head: 9c5b2f3. No main/develop push, PR merge, dependency update, export or preview-markup change is included.
Validation: all existing local quality commands and production build pass. Final Ubuntu/Node 22 CI passes on exact head 9c5b2f3, including clean dependency installation; the branch is mergeable against main. A disposable merge of final R03 and R05 succeeds without source or documentation conflicts. Their combined persistence/sizing checks also pass.
The linked hvab-blocks 0.3 work was reviewed. A disposable combination with local develop commits 71d4e64 and 29fb10c passes all existing quality commands and builds against 0.3.0. Those unpublished develop commits are not included in this PR. On their eventual integration, keep R03 usePanelLayout instead of the superseded viewportWidth/handleWindowResize wiring, while retaining the 0.3 controls-pane container/Field adaptation and portal body font. Keep R02 AppLayers and clipping/session fixes. Details are recorded in PROGRESS.md.
Limits: local clean npm ci is blocked by the environment's existing Git-package restriction. Local verification used matching installed dependencies plus hvab-blocks files from exact pinned local commit b9c78a6; npm settings were not changed. PR CI supplies the clean Ubuntu/Node 22 install. Earlier Chrome geometry checks remain recorded in branch history; no new Safari/Firefox, zoom/touch, Windows forced-colors or screen-reader coverage is claimed.
