Setup our pre-configured Eclipse development environment (virtual machine)

We provide a pre-configured virtual machine (vm) with an eclipse development environment which contains everything one need to build own custom multidisplay firmware images.

Install Virtualbox

Download and install Virtualbox and Oracle VM Virtualbox Extension Pack from https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads.

Create the Virtual Machine

• download and extract the virtual machine from http://mycorrado.de/bofh/public/multidisplayUI/vm/ (3 rar files). It contains 1 virtual disk image (vdi) file .
• start Virtualbox
• create a new virtual machine (OS: Linux / Version: Arch Linux 64 bit).
• choose the downloaded vdi-file as harddisk

Fire up the vm and have fun... :-)
