Zapier Featured Customer Skills

Curated customer-inspired skill packages for coding agents.

This repo is for reusable skills that show how teams can turn a proven customer workflow into a source-backed, reviewable agent workflow. Each package should be sanitized for public sharing and written so another team can adapt the pattern to its own approved systems.

What This Is

Featured customer skills are skill files created from Zapier customer stories and workflows.

Each package should make clear:

  • The reusable business problem.
  • The target team and expected outcome.
  • The systems a customer would connect through Zapier MCP, Zapier SDK, or another approved integration path.
  • The required human approval gates before any external send, CRM write, public claim, or customer-facing asset.
  • The substitutions another team must make for its own CRM fields, content library, approval tracker, or warehouse.

Repository Map

  • skills/: featured skill packages, grouped by business function.
  • registry/skills.csv: canonical index for published packages.
  • docs/featured-customer-skill-breakdown.md: plain-English overview for leaders and buyers.
  • templates/: packaging aids for future additions.

How To Use It

  1. Start with docs/featured-customer-skill-breakdown.md to understand the available patterns.
  2. Use registry/skills.csv to find the closest package.
  3. Open the skill folder and read README.md, SKILL.md, SETUP.md, ONBOARDING-PROMPT.md, and SCHEMA-MAP.md where available.
  4. Replace example systems, fields, and approval gates with your team's approved sources.
  5. Keep a human review step before any workflow sends messages, updates systems of record, publishes assets, or uses customer proof externally.

Safety Bar

Do not include private customer data, Slack or Drive links, CRM records, raw transcripts, warehouse queries, emails, phone numbers, employee names, tokens, or customer-private implementation details. Use synthetic examples and company-level customer credit only when the story is approved for public use.
