Laravel is a web application framework with expressive, elegant syntax. We believe development must be an enjoyable and creative experience to be truly fulfilling. Laravel takes the pain out of development by easing common tasks used in many web projects, such as:
- Simple, fast routing engine.
- Powerful dependency injection container.
- Multiple back-ends for session and cache storage.
- Expressive, intuitive database ORM.
- Database agnostic schema migrations.
- Robust background job processing.
- Real-time event broadcasting.
Laravel is accessible, powerful, and provides tools required for large, robust applications.
This Laravel application includes an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for enhanced AI assistance. Follow these steps to get started:
- Docker and Docker Compose
- Node.js and npm
- Claude Desktop with MCP support
-
Clone the repository:
git clone <repository-url> cd laravel-mcp
-
Install dependencies:
docker run --rm \ -u "$(id -u):$(id -g)" \ -v "$(pwd):/var/www/html" \ -w /var/www/html \ laravelsail/php84-composer:latest \ composer install --ignore-platform-reqs npm install -
Set up environment:
cp .env.example .env php artisan key:generate
-
Start Laravel Sail (Docker):
./vendor/bin/sail up -d
-
Run database migrations:
./vendor/bin/sail artisan migrate
-
Build frontend assets:
./vendor/bin/sail npm run build # or for development ./vendor/bin/sail npm run dev
To integrate this Laravel application's MCP server with Claude Desktop, run:
claude mcp add my-server -- php artisan mcp:start my-app-serverThis will enable Claude to interact with your Laravel application through the MCP protocol, providing enhanced assistance with database queries, documentation searches, and more.
- Web Application: http://localhost
- MCP Server: Automatically configured when using the Claude integration command above
- List all feedback in database:
./vendor/bin/sail artisan app:list-feedback
