Enhance Firefox with a cleaner dark interface and custom UI tweaks.

If you recently updated to 151 or later after applying this theme, please follow these steps:

• go to about:config
• Search for browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.nova.enabled and set it to false.

Installation

1. Download better-firefox-v1.0.zip from the latest release

2. Extract the ZIP file.

3. Install the Better Dark Mode theme from Mozilla Add-ons.

4. Open Firefox settings and set the appearance to Dark:
   about:preferences#general

5. Copy the chrome folder from the extracted files.

6. Open your Firefox profile folder:

   • Type about:support in the Firefox address bar.
   • Find Profile Folder and click Open Folder.

7. Paste the copied chrome folder into the profile folder you just opened.
   If prompted, choose Replace the files in the destination.

8. Enable required settings in about:config:

   • Type about:config in the Firefox address bar.
   • Click Accept the Risk and Continue.
   • Search for toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets and set it to true.
   • Search for layout.css.backdrop-filter.enabled and layout.css.backdrop-filter.force-enabled and set it to true.
   • Search for browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.nova.enabled and set it to false.

9. Open firefox settings > home and set "Homepage and new windows" to custom URLs > type "about:newtab". about:preferences#home

10. Click Ctrl + Shift + B in firefox for the best experience.

11. Close and reopen Firefox to apply the changes.
