π¨ Severity: HIGH
π‘ Vulnerability: Authorization bypass in tickets API routes where endpoints for updating ticket status, assigning tickets, and performing bulk actions were accessible to any authenticated user, regardless of role.
π― Impact: Attackers or regular users without proper access could improperly modify or resolve security tickets, undermining tracking integrity and audit trails.
π§ Fix: Created a restricted Echo route sub-group with
middleware.RequireRole("admin", "analyst")insideRegisterRoutesfor restricted endpoints.β Verification: Ran unit tests and ensured that the application builds smoothly.
