New learners previously needed Python and pal before following setup, and a successful lesson process could overwrite or complete progress without inspecting evidence. This change adds a shell bootstrap and separates execution, artifact checks, one-variable review, feedback resolution and explicit completion in ignored local state.
The 49 bilingual lessons now describe measured experiments with preserved authored text and catalog-ordered navigation. Software modules use pinned public models, actual control/contact data, PPO/BC and external-stack adapters; reviewed Mac figures and numerical evidence accompany the curriculum. WS1 Ubuntu changes through aa86de5 are included.
Validation: 88 regression tests; 27 actual Mac software lessons with baseline/comparison/check/review/finish; fresh bootstrap with Python/uv absent from PATH, reinstall and progress preservation; Ruff, strict mypy, repository/release/public-boundary checks and strict MkDocs. Push CI passed at c17209b.
ROS/GPU/VLA/Isaac adapters still require 14 external lesson runs, and eight device lessons remain scaffolded. Short training checks do not certify policy performance or authorize hardware. WS1 verification commands and expected evidence are documented.
