Core Parse: Mark IV / CA Vision:Builder Positional Extraction #3978

Description

@squid-protocol

Market Context

Mark IV (now CA Vision:Builder) is an early 4th Generation Language (4GL) still heavily embedded in massive banking and insurance estates.

The Gap

Mark IV is a literal "punch-card" language. Meaning is dictated entirely by character column positions rather than keywords (e.g., placing an 'M' in column 10 defines a logic processing card, while an 'F' defines a file definition card). Grammar-based AST parsers completely fail to model this because it is not a token stream.

Required Action

Create a MarkIVExtractor that bypasses standard regex word boundaries. It should map dataset dependencies, program inputs/outputs, and logical boundaries using O(1) positional string slicing (e.g., evaluating line[9]). This will cleanly integrate these massive legacy 4GLs into the GitGalaxy DAG.
