Troubleshooting

No Sound

Problem: Bit responds visually but no audio plays

Solutions:

  1. Check browser audio: Ensure browser audio is enabled
  2. User gesture: Click anywhere first (some browsers require user interaction)
  3. Fallback tones: If movie audio fails, synthetic tones should play
  4. Browser compatibility: Try Chrome/Firefox for best audio support

Slow Performance

Problem: Animations are choppy or laggy

Solutions:

  1. Close other tabs: Free up browser resources
  2. Hardware acceleration: Enable in browser settings
  3. Update browser: Use latest version for best performance
  4. Reduce window size: Smaller viewport = better performance

Visual Issues

Problem: Shapes don't display correctly

Solutions:

  1. Modern browser: Use Chrome, Firefox, or Safari (recent versions)
  2. CSS support: Ensure CSS3 clip-path is supported
  3. Graphics drivers: Update if on older hardware
  4. Zoom level: Reset browser zoom to 100%

Mobile Issues

Problem: Touch controls don't work properly

Solutions:

  1. Tap directly on Bit: Ensure you're touching the character
  2. Portrait mode: Try rotating device
  3. Full screen: Use browser full-screen mode
  4. Modern mobile browser: Use Chrome Mobile or Safari

Browser Compatibility

Fully Supported

  • Chrome 60+ (Recommended)
  • Firefox 55+
  • Safari 12+
  • Edge 79+

Feature Requirements
