Hi Lars,
No worries, I'm happy to hear you are still interested in the project! I
haven't had a ton of time to work on this recently, but over the holiday
here in the states I've been able to make some good progress. Right now I'm
working on fixing some issues with later pieces of code being loaded over
earlier pieces and mangling the program in memory. Fingers crossed, but I
think I'm close to having that resolved; at that point the program
hopefully runs enough to start hitting the code that interacts with the
typewriter interface. The goal I'm aiming for in the next blog post is to
get to the point where the emulated typewriter receives the first message
from the JOHNNIAC. Little-by-little we're getting closer to having JOSS up
and running.

This completes the transcription of the 1965 JOSS listing. There are probably some mistakes in here, but it is correct enough to be loaded by an emulator.
