The /ai hero now states how Roman runs AI work (three working rules) instead of repeating career claims. The closing matches the CV title, and the Magic Kick "Public proof" box is gone, so the page leads with practice and keeps Download CV as the one primary action. The page structure (pillars, matrix, glossary, rail) is unchanged.

• Magic Kick: 3 pillar rows plus the matrix row (the desktop table and the mobile cards), and 0 links to magic-kick
• Closing: the new title renders and the quiet line is gone
• Copy checks: the rendered text (textContent) has none of "Happy to compare notes", "AI Implementation Lead", "20+ multi-vendor" or "Last reviewed", and no em dashes
• Layout: no horizontal scroll
• Console: the only error is 404 /_vercel/insights/script.js (Vercel Analytics, local preview only)

How to test

1. Open the Vercel preview and go to /ai
2. Check the hero copy, the Download CV button and the "Email me" text link
3. Check that "On this page" (below 1360px) and the left rail (1360px and up) have no "Proof" item
4. Scroll to the bottom: the closing title is new and has no "compare notes" line
5. Open the Harness row and the Projects matrix: Magic Kick is still listed, without links
6. Repeat at 390px in dark and light

Core loop: home → Work → /ai → Download CV still works.

Not tested:

• The Vercel preview itself
• Real iOS Safari or Android Chrome (emulated 390px only)
• Firefox and Safari
• Lighthouse (left to Lighthouse CI)

Quality gates

• Mobile checked (390px emulated viewport)
• No console errors in the preview: local preview only; the one error is the Vercel Analytics 404
• Accessibility kept: same landmarks; the new text link has a 44px tap target and keeps the default focus ring
• No new npm dependency
• Lucide icons use named imports (removed the unused Mail import)
• Redirects in vercel.json: no route change

Docs

• CHANGELOG.md updated under [Unreleased]
• docs/ / CLAUDE.md: no architecture or routing change

Screenshots

Captured locally: the hero at 390px and 1366px in dark and light, and the closing band at 1366px and 390px in dark. The GitHub CLI can't upload images, so Roman needs to drag them in from the session scratchpad, or use the Vercel preview.

Notes for review

• Email label. The hero text link uses the existing labels.emailMe ("Email me").
• OG title. useOgMeta and ai/index.html use the same string for the page, OG and Twitter titles, as before.
• Proof wording outside the hero. The project note for Magic Kick in the matrix still reads "Private-use planner, public as implementation proof". The brief didn't ask to change it; worth a look now that the public proof box is gone.
