The provenance parenthesis that follows the merge-authority paragraph in CLAUDE.md named the session it was recorded in, split across a line break. It now reads "(Recorded 2026-09-01 by the operator; adopted here at bootstrap with the rest of the satellite authority table.)": the date, the operator and the bootstrap adoption stay, only the session reference goes. This is wording only: no row of the authority table changes, the paragraph it annotates is untouched, and there is no behaviour change. CLAUDE.md is not a gated path (gate.also_gated_paths names only README.md), so the repo's docs-only rule applies and no gate ran; no changelog fragment, per changelog.d/README.md.

Review (my own, before opening): I re-read the diff against the acceptance (the id scan's joined pass reads zero hit lines in this repo; no behaviour change). The diff is one paragraph in CLAUDE.md, two lines added for three removed; the new sentence restates the old one minus the session clause, in the file's own voice, and grants nothing. Id scan of CLAUDE.md: before, one hit line (the split reference); after, zero hit lines, clean. The id scan over the branch diff against origin/main is clean, and the terminology scan over the diff, the commit message, this title and this body is clean with a positive control that fired.

The provenance parenthesis after the merge-authority paragraph named the
session it came from, split across a line break. It now keeps only the
date, the operator and the bootstrap adoption. Wording only; no authority
row changes meaning and no behaviour changes.
