Trialled TypeScript 7.0.2 against main today. Blocked — leaving this open.

The blocker is tsdown, not TypeScript, and it bites from both sides:

1. Current tsdown@0.19.0 crashes under TS7. Its rolldown-plugin-dts@0.20.0 reaches for a tsc host internal TS7 no longer provides:

tsdown 0.19 also only peers typescript: ^5.0.0; the ^7 peer first appears in 0.22.5.

2. Upgrading to tsdown@0.22.14 (#572) fails independently. tsdown ≥ 0.21.10 turned rolldown's MISSING_EXPORT into a hard error, and bundling vitest-plugin-vis's .d.mts pulls in vite's own type graph, which trips it five times:

[MISSING_EXPORT] "KnownQueryTypeMap" is not exported by vite/types/importGlob.d.ts
[MISSING_EXPORT] "default" is not exported by esbuild/lib/main.d.ts

I reproduced that second failure with the catalog still on TypeScript 6.0.3, so it is a tsdown/rolldown-dts regression rather than anything TS7 did.

So TS7 is gated behind #572, and #572 is gated behind rolldown-plugin-dts learning to bundle vite's types. Both stay open.
