  • expoUsePushy(ExpoAppDelegate): 升级到 expo 57.0.30,直接使用 Expo 从 57.0.23 起自带的 ExpoAppSceneDelegate(EXExpoAppSceneDelegate),AppDelegate 改为遵守 ExpoReactNativeFactoryProvider。

Linking.getInitialURL 照常可用,provider 的测试通道深链依赖它。

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • iOS apps now support scene-based startup, creating their window and launching React Native when a window scene connects. The example apps are configured to use a single application scene.
    • URLs and user activities are included when the app launches and forwarded when received later, supporting link handling across both entry points.
    • The Expo example now uses scene-based app startup.

Built with the iOS 27 SDK, an app that has not adopted the UIScene life
cycle traps at launch on iOS 27 (EXC_BREAKPOINT in
UIApplicationEvaluateRuntimeIssueForNoSceneLifecycleAdoption). The e2e app,
testHotUpdate and the Expo example all created their window in
didFinishLaunching; CI's Xcode 26.4 does not enforce this yet.

Each example now declares a scene configuration and starts React Native in a
SceneDelegate, on a window created for the connecting scene:
- e2etest / testHotUpdate (RCTAppDelegate): automaticallyLoadReactNativeWindow
is off, and the scene starts reactNativeFactory with the app delegate's
  moduleName / initialProps.
- expoUsePushy (ExpoAppDelegate): didFinishLaunching only creates the
  factory; the scene starts it.

With scenes, URLs no longer reach the app delegate: a URL or universal link
that launched the app comes with the scene and is passed to React Native as a
launch option (Linking.getInitialURL, which the provider's test channel
reads); later ones are forwarded to RCTLinkingManager.

📝 Walkthrough

Three iOS examples configure scene-based startup. Two Objective-C examples create windows and start React Native from SceneDelegate, and forward later linking events. The Expo example configures its scene delegate and updates the Expo dependency.

Changes: iOS scene-based startup

Layer / File(s) Summary
Objective-C scene startup and linking
Example/e2etest/ios/AwesomeProject/AppDelegate.mm, Example/e2etest/ios/AwesomeProject/Info.plist, Example/testHotUpdate/ios/AwesomeProject/AppDelegate.mm, Example/testHotUpdate/ios/AwesomeProject/Info.plist
Both examples disable automatic React Native window loading. Their SceneDelegate implementations create a window and start React Native when a window scene connects. They include available URL and user-activity data in launch options and forward later events to RCTLinkingManager. Each scene manifest registers SceneDelegate and disables multiple scenes.
Expo scene configuration
Example/expoUsePushy/ios/expoUsePushy/AppDelegate.swift, Example/expoUsePushy/ios/expoUsePushy/Info.plist, Example/expoUsePushy/package.json
AppDelegate adopts ExpoReactNativeFactoryProvider and removes its explicit window creation and React Native startup branch. The scene manifest names EXExpoAppSceneDelegate. The Expo dependency version changes from ~57.0.22 to ~57.0.30.

The examples now use scene-based startup while retaining supported React Native link handling and Expo event forwarding. No concrete material regression remains established, so merge risk is minimal.

Comment thread Example/expoUsePushy/ios/expoUsePushy/AppDelegate.swift Outdated
Expo 57.0.23 added ExpoAppSceneDelegate (EXExpoAppSceneDelegate), which
besides starting React Native in the connecting scene forwards scene URL,
user-activity, life-cycle and quick-action events to the ExpoAppDelegate and
its subscribers (expo-linking and friends); the hand-written SceneDelegate
only forwarded URLs and user activities to RCTLinkingManager.

Bump the example to expo 57.0.30, make AppDelegate an
ExpoReactNativeFactoryProvider (window and reactNativeFactory were already
there; the module name defaults to "main") and point the scene configuration
at EXExpoAppSceneDelegate.

Bump package.json and harmony/pushy/oh-package.json5 together, with the
bilingual release notes. Ships everything since 10.61.0: one persisted
layout on every platform with a one-time migration (#691), the UIScene life
cycle in the iOS examples (#692) and the CI actions bump (#690).
