Preserve and improve Ghostty-specific enhanced behaviors behind the TerminalHost capability abstraction so they do not leak into NMSh core.
Why
Ghostty is the primary development host and has capabilities (keyboard protocols, appearance integration, graphics/protocol support) that improve NMSh. These should be retained and improved — but must be isolated behind host-specific logic so NMSh core remains host-agnostic.
Scope
Ghostty-enhanced behaviors to preserve and route through the capability abstraction (#10):
Enhanced-host integration is isolated in unmerged #261, stacked on #260 → #259 → #258. Core consumes capabilities/adapter operations; it no longer selects configuration integration by host names or by finding another host’s config file. Existing explicit panel actions are preserved, startup is passive, and architecture tests pin the boundary.
Local build/typecheck/diff check and 782 tests passed. Node 22/26 CI passed at run 36924237544. Physical keyboard/configuration/selection validation remains deferred and this issue stays open. Development stopped at a disk-headroom checkpoint; see #10 for exact branch/SHA and remaining work.
Implemented on the v0.16 branch (PR #303, feature/v016-platform-portability-agents). Enhanced Ghostty integration behind the host abstraction (capabilities and adapter operations, no host-name branching in core): docs/architecture/terminal-host.md, docs/architecture/host-actions.md. It was part of the integrated build the maintainer physically validated in the earlier v0.16 QA pass; closing with the implementation.
