I like making software, understanding how it works, and finding ways to make it a little better.

about

hey, i'm qrj. i learn mostly by building things, getting stuck, reading more than i planned to, and trying again.

i'm drawn to practical tools, interesting technical problems, and interfaces that feel simple for the right reasons. still learning, still experimenting, and usually working on something.

what i use

Go · TypeScript · JavaScript · Rust · Python

different languages for different ideas. i care more about whether something works well than what it was written in.

lately

  • building side projects and small experiments
  • learning more about software architecture and how systems fit together
  • paying attention to the little details that make software pleasant to use

beyond the code

i'm also interested in mathematics, design, and chess. i like things that reward curiosity and a bit of patience.
