Actions Bar
The actions bar is located just under the character's name and rank on the Your Adventure screen. This area contains utilities for playing Captain's Log.
The mission tool allows you to randomly generate missions, keep track of mission progress, and view completed missions.
The current mission is the mission that is currently assigned to you (if you have one). If you do not have a current mission, you will be prompted to "Contact HQ". This will randomly generate you a new mission. If you do have a mission you will see a screen with the mission information as it was generated as well as a progress tracker (reminiscent of the one provided in the Captain's Log book) to keep track of how far along your mission you are and how successful you've been.

The progress tracker is split into 3 acts, the opening act, the rising action act, and the resolution act. Each act can have a total of 5 scenes. This is reminiscent of the progress tracker provided in the Captain's Log book. Scenes are represented by Starfleet deltas with numbers inside.
Tap the delta to change the scene's status.

When you are done your mission you can press the "Complete Mission" button to save the results and compute a rank indicating how well you did.
You may also "Abandon Mission" which will delete the current mission and will not record it anywhere. Use this if you want to start a new mission before completing the current one.
You may view all your previously completed missions here as well as see how well you performed on each mission thanks to a computed mission "rank"

The log allows you to record your missions in the format of a Captain's/First Officer's/Personal log. As in the show log entries are tied to in-universe dates known as Stardates. The date-time picker for the Stardate will default to 2371 which is the default time-period for the Star Trek Adventures game.
Logs are composed of a single "starting" entry; usually this entry provides backstory and introduces the conflict. This is then followed by several supplemental entries which further provide details on the status of the mission. This culminates in a final supplemental which concludes the mission's events.
The new log entry screen only allows for the initial entry to be input. To add supplemental entries, you need to change to the "Entries" tab.

Previous log entries can be viewed on the "Entries" tab. You can also use this tab to add supplemental entries to any prior entry.

The dice roller allows for the rolling of the common dice used in Star Trek Adventures and Captain's Log.
