PulsePhone Wiki

A modular, open-source smartphone built on the NXP MCM-iMX93 SoM, running Linux.

What is PulsePhone?

PulsePhone is an open-source initiative for a modular phone. It runs on the MCM-iMX93 SoM (System on Module), and it's primary goal is to be a modular phone with interchangeable parts (like cameras, displays, wifi, etc). For me it's a project I have been working on to deepen my understanding of embedded hardware, and embedded programming.

This is not a consumer product. It's a learning platform and a demonstration of embedded hardware design.
