I skipped the show page, if that's what you mean. I was concentrating on doing a smooth job on the things I needed practice on.

Well your app isn't necessarily the only thing that will consume your API.
This is the purpose of the restful app. If I want a ride singular (let's
say in json format) I should be able to sent a get request with an item in
the parameter and get back a json or csv pr html representation of your
object. This is something that you wouldn't think about because we only
expect our own apps to consume our API (aka, your Controller routes).
