Welcome to this OTB training session.

These notebooks have to be launched from Google colaboratory : we will show you how during the training.

• These notebooks are “executable” documents, that will launch a few remote-sensing processings.
• Attendees will have to fill in some blanks to achieve the different exercises.
• These notebooks will be executed on remote google colaboratory cloud servers (which needs a google account), so no local installation will be needed
• The first session is an “OTB guided tour” : is a presentation of Orfeo Toolbox and an introduction to remote sensing. We will build a small processing chain to compute some watermasks and count islands.
• The second session will focus on land-cover classification with satellite images time series. We will use OTB machine learning framework to obtain and analyze different land-cover maps.
