Fixes #28410

Clause-②: yes (narrowing)
New refusals at the save and publish doors, at os validate and at the marketplace managed install narrow the accepted set; the base's paired .custom declaring an override is admitted beside them. The one packages/spec/** file touched is the error-code provenance ledger: two rows naming os validate and the marketplace install as emitters of the already-registered NOT_OVERRIDABLE; no schema, type or runtime interface moves.

Metadata-protocol: narrowed
Skills-docs: none — no file under skills/** teaches the overrides declaration, a <base>.custom package or the sealed-write sentence; the content/docs/references/** pages that show overrides are generated from the spec and do not move.

  • 改了什么:覆盖写门(ADR-0146 D2,docs(adr): ADR-0146 amendment — only the paired <base>.custom declares an override; a dependent package adds under its own names (ruled A, withdraws rider 3) #28390 裁决 A)落在三个门点:保存/发布门、os validate、市场托管安装。
  • 为什么改:依赖包可以在基础包的名字下发布条目,读者拿到哪一份没有定论(metadata-protocol: a same-named item in a dependent package replaces the base package's item for package-less reads and in the base app #28238 的形状:今天 200)。
  • 先看:packages/metadata-protocol/src/protocol-packaged-base-refusal.ts(judgeOverrideWrite、overrideWriteItemsOf),protocol.ts 的保存门与 promoteDraftForPublish 两处接线,cloud-connection 安装门的步骤 2d。
  • 两分钟验证:pnpm --filter @objectstack/metadata-protocol exec vitest run src/protocol.packaged-base-refusal.test.ts,预期 Tests 63 passed (63)。
  • 需要你做的:卡上的安装门点从 installPackage 移到市场托管安装(席位已批);另有一个开放问题:os build 要不要也拒(见报告)。

What changes

  • The rule, once (@objectstack/metadata-protocol, protocol-packaged-base-refusal.ts). judgeOverrideWrite(subject, closure) is a pure verdict: admit, one named refuse, or not_concerned. It reads N-08's surface from @objectstack/spec/kernel (OVERRIDE_TYPE_CLASSIFICATION, isCustomizationPairOf, customizationPackageId, customizationBasePackageId) and copies none of it. overrideWriteItemsOf(body) is the item walk the two outside doors share (an action keyed <objectName>:<name>, a views: container expanded by the loader's own expandViewContainer). Both are exported from the package index in one export line.
  • The refusals, all 403 NOT_OVERRIDABLE, each with its own sentence:
    • (a) undeclared_same_name: a dependent's item under the name a read-only package in its closure ships, on an overridable type. In <base>.custom: "Declare it … or rename the item". Elsewhere: "Rename the item".
    • (b) declared_outside_pair: overrides on a package that is not the base's pair.
    • (c) declared_package_outside_closure ("Declare a dependency on '' …") and declared_package_ships_no_such_item.
    • (d) declared_type_not_overridable: an excluded type, pointing to a new item under a new name.
    • (e) declared_object: pointing to objectExtensions.
    • declared_type_not_yet_available: a declared flow ("flow customization is not yet available") or action.
  • Admit. The pair declaring an override of an item its base ships, on an open type: the save door skips the sealed refusal for it and the repository is told a runtime-only write (the pair's own row), at the save and at the promotion.
  • Save and publish doors (protocol.ts). The save door judges every save; a refused declaration throws before the flow-only regime check (so a declared flow reads its own sentence, not the clone sentence), and an undeclared same name throws last, just before the store, so every refusal the door already answered keeps its code and status (a view container's name collision keeps its 400, a lock its ITEM_LOCKED). The promotion (publishMetaItem, publishPackageDrafts) judges the draft body and throws once, last before the store; a batch publish reports it in failed.
  • Base = read-only. Only a package isWritablePackage answers false for is a base the gate guards: an override replaces an installed item, and a writable package's item is edited in place (ADR-0070). Every artifact a kernel serves is registered through registerApp, which puts it in manifests, so this keeps no real base out.
  • The sealed sentence. On an open type its tail is writer-aware. For the base's pair (or a write naming no package) it reads "To change it, declare an override from '.custom' (overrides: { package: '', basedOn }), or rename the item." For any other package it reads "To change it, rename the item: only .custom may declare an override of ." The base id is read through the existing packagedArtifactOwner, so no new lookupArtifactItem call site.
  • A malformed overrides is not a declaration. A value OverrideDeclarationSchema refuses is not judged as a declaration: the save door's schema gate answers it (422 INVALID_METADATA), and os validate's schema step reports it.
  • A save naming no package is re-judged for the package its address gives (the publish address or the draft address), so it cannot write a dependent's undeclared same-named row. This is the one write behaviour refused on purpose (see Tests).
  • os validate (@objectstack/cli, utils/override-declarations.ts, step 3a-iii). Each package of the artifact (or the stack as one package) is judged against its closure, followed through the artifact's packages. A same name is found where both packages are in the artifact; a declaration is judged whole wherever its base lives. Exit 1, the rows on errors with path, code, rule, packageId, message.
  • Marketplace managed install (@objectstack/cloud-connection, step 2d, before any write). Every delivered package (a packages[] artifact judged per entry) is judged against its closure (registry dependencies plus the artifact's own) with shippers read from the protocol's per-package listing. A refusal answers 403 NOT_OVERRIDABLE with details.refusals; nothing registers and no ledger entry is written. On an install of a base, overrideCollisions on the 200 answer lists each name an installed dependent already holds undeclared (the judge's sentence per row); the key is omitted when empty.

Tests

  • protocol.packaged-base-refusal.test.ts: the gate describe block, 63 tests in the file, including the package-less save re-judged for its address's package (the one write behaviour refused on purpose). Red first on main (b24adb3a): 20 failed, 35 passed.
  • protocol.sealed-remedy-kind.test.ts: the one-sentence pin reads the declare-or-rename tail from the classification, never transcribed.
  • packages/cli/src/utils/override-declarations.test.ts (7, unit tier) and packages/cli/test/validate-override-declarations.test.ts (2, the command, exit code).
  • packages/cloud-connection/src/marketplace-install-local-override-gate.test.ts (6): refusals, nothing written, the pair's admit, the control, the collision list.
  • protocol.org-scoped-write-refused.test.ts is green and unchanged (git diff 23d1303d -- <file> empty).
  • The metadata-protocol: one effective read — package-less, base-named, layered, the env-wide list and export serve the .custom declared override, and a withdrawn public form stays withdrawn #28409 and metadata-protocol: a same-named item in a dependent package replaces the base package's item for package-less reads and in the base app #28238 read pins in the rest and objectql suites seed their same-named rows before the gate (pre-gate seeding), so they keep pinning the read side the gate now keeps from being written.
  • Ablations, 19, each through scripts/ablation-replace.mjs with its restore proved clean (git diff HEAD empty); each reads red: (a) 7 failed, (b) 4, (c) closure 1, (c) ships 1, (d) 1, (e) 1, not-yet 2, sealed tail 5, read-only base filter 127 (the org-scoped file), save door declared throw 4, save door undeclared throw 5, promotion throw 3, admitted runtime-only intent 1, install refusal 3, install collisions 1, validate wiring 1. Round 2 adds A18 (writer-aware tail, 1 failed), A19 (malformed overrides is not a declaration, 5 failed) and A20 (package-less re-judge, 1 failed). Two first attempts were no-ops (the anchor's replacement count did not rise) and were redone; one (an early declared throw at the promotion) read green and was removed as redundant.

Acceptance notes

  • The card's installPackage gate point moved to the marketplace managed install (seat 1 amendment, posted on metadata-protocol: the override write gate — only the base's paired .custom may declare; undeclared same names and a dependent's overrides are refused at publish, os validate and install #28410). installPackage takes a manifest and no items (PackageInstallManifestSchema), and the unmanaged install copies through the save door, which is gated; the managed install is where a package's items arrive unjudged.
  • os build does not run the gate. The parity ledger records findOverrideDeclarationRefusals in VALIDATE_ONLY_GATES with the reason; whether the build refuses too is an open question on the card.
  • The validate and install tests live beside their doors, not in protocol.packaged-base-refusal.test.ts as the order put it: metadata-protocol cannot import cli or cloud-connection (they depend on it).
  • Not handled: a rollback (rollbackMetaItem) of a declared override row still computes the override-artifact intent from isArtifactBacked alone. Rolling back the pair's row is N-10/N-16 territory and not a door this card names.
  • The install door's collision list reads dependents through the protocol listing (getMetaItems({ type, packageId })), which serves code-registered and stored items alike, so a .custom built in Studio is covered.

Verification

Run on 21bc1b51 (a merge of origin/main) under os-verify-lock (VERDICT command-exit 0).

  • Merge: the only conflict was scripts/engine-double-contract.pinned.json. Main's pin was taken and regenerated with check-engine-double-contract.mjs --write; it differs from main only by this branch's three rows (the gate test's delete, findOne and update). check:engine-double-contract exit 0.
  • pnpm install --frozen-lockfile exit 0; closure rebuild exit 0. Typecheck metadata-protocol, cli and cloud-connection: exit 0.
  • metadata-protocol full suite: Test Files 290 passed | 4 skipped (294), Tests 21929 passed | 26 skipped.
  • objectql full suite: Test Files 512 passed, Tests 9888 passed.
  • rest full suite: Test Files 368 passed, Tests 7195 passed | 352 skipped.
  • cloud-connection full suite: Test Files 64 passed, Tests 778 passed.
  • cli unit tier plus test/validate-override-declarations and test/validate-build-gate-parity: Test Files 290 passed | 1 skipped, Tests 3730 passed | 8 skipped.
  • Derived gates (dispatch-gates.mjs --commands, reconciled with --ran): ✓ dispatch-gates --ran: 98 derived famil(ies) accounted for — 98 run, 0 NOT-MEASURED, including check:error-code-provenance and the i18n and dual-build families with their prerequisites built first.
  • Ablations: the round-1 sixteen plus A18–A20, all red, each restore proved clean.

Re-run on cd852e2a (a merge of origin/main bringing in #28595, then the re-seed of packages-customizations.test.ts) under os-verify-lock (VERDICT command-exit 0).

  • Red first: CI Test Core (3/8), job 124795448012, 2 failed on 21bc1b51 (the two packages-customizations.test.ts cases seeding through saveMetaItem, which the gate now refuses).
  • Re-seed: each case first asserts the door's 403 NOT_OVERRIDABLE with its own sentence ("carries overrides" for the non-pair declaration, "declares no override" for the undeclared pair row), then lays the row down below the gate through the same draft save and publish with the gate shadowed to not_concerned for that save alone. The read assertions are unchanged.
  • packages-customizations.test.ts: 13/13. @objectstack/runtime full suite: Test Files 505 passed (505), Tests 9106 passed | 19 skipped.
  • Derived gates: ✓ dispatch-gates --ran: 98 derived famil(ies) accounted for — 98 run, 0 NOT-MEASURED.
  • 4a25192b changes only the declarationOf docblock (it now names the door's 422 INVALID_METADATA); comment only in a non-exported function, eslint exit 0.

…red same name refused last; export the judge

The undeclared-same-name refusal throws just before the store at the save
and promote doors, after every refusal those doors already answered, so no
existing code or status changes. Only a read-only (installed) package is a
base the gate guards. The sealed sentence's base id is read through
packagedArtifactOwner. judgeOverrideWrite is exported for os validate and
the marketplace install door.

…d the marketplace managed install

os validate walks each package of the artifact under the publish door's
judge (judgeOverrideWrite) against its closure inside the artifact and exits
1 on a refusal. The managed install judges every delivered package's items
before any write (403 NOT_OVERRIDABLE, one entry per item) and lists, on a
base install, the names installed dependents already hold undeclared
(overrideCollisions). The item walk (overrideWriteItemsOf) lives beside the
judge in metadata-protocol so both doors name items one way.

…or refuses; record the build gap

The flow and action not-yet-available refusals are one rule
(declared_type_not_yet_available): they differ only by type. The parity
ledger records findOverrideDeclarationRefusals as validate-only: the card
named publish, os validate and install as the gate points.

… refusal once, last before the store

The early declared-refusal throw at the promotion was redundant with the
late one (an ablation of it read green): nothing between them answers a
declared draft first.

📓 Docs Drift Check

This PR changes 4 package(s): @objectstack/cli, @objectstack/cloud-connection, @objectstack/metadata-protocol, @objectstack/spec, touching 63 documentable anchor(s). ⚠️ 1 changed file(s) yielded no anchor (packages/metadata-protocol/src/index.ts), so the pages documenting them are NOT COVERED by this run — this is not a clean bill of health for those files.

22 hand-written doc(s) name something this change touched — list omitted above 15 rows. Re-derive on the tree named below: node scripts/docs-audit/affected-docs.mjs --json d77dc07a5e5a4b5478763fb3a2126913c92f8c01.

⛔ 10 release-owned page(s) also affected — read-only, see AGENTS.md Documentation Guardrails.

What this run could not see
  • 1 changed file(s) yielded no anchor (packages/metadata-protocol/src/index.ts) — pages documenting those are invisible to this run
  • 1 cross-cutting symbol(s) contributed no route anchor: packageId (4 routes)
  • 1 anchor(s) matched too much of the corpus to be a work list: os validate (command, 81 pages)
  • 6 name(s) were too generic to anchor anything (single lowercase words)
  • the SDK route bridge reached 60 of 214 client-bound route-ledger rows — the other 154 have no registrar path: tail to select them, so pages documenting THEIR client methods cannot appear above, on this or any run. Of those 154: 0 are remediable by widening that discovery convention (an in-repo file declares the path; the convention did not scan it); 55 are structural — on a ledger where NOT ONE row is declared in-repo, so no discovery change reaches them at any price; 99 are undecided (no in-repo declaration, on a ledger that has other in-repo registrars — absence and an unreadable spelling are not distinguishable here). The rows themselves: node scripts/docs-audit/affected-docs.mjs --bridge-coverage
  • a page that states a rule by its inputs shares no identifier with the emitter that implements the rule, so an emitter-only diff cannot list it — not on this run and not on any run. Measured on fix(driver-sql): emit varchar(maxLength) for a text field a declared index keys on #11430: content/docs/protocol/objectql/types.mdx documents the text-family column mapping by the ObjectQL type names it maps FROM (text / textarea / html) while the diff changed createColumn; it went unlisted, and it was the page that diff falsified, in four places. No shared token exists to detect this on, so a rule your change carries has to be re-read by hand in the pages that restate it.
  • a key NAME is not a key, so the hand re-read the line above prescribes can land on the wrong schema. The same spelling is authorable on one governed type and a [REMOVED] tombstone on another for each of active, aria, joins, objects, template, tools and version (censused on [finding] tools is a key on BOTH AgentSchema (tombstoned, dead) and SkillSchema (live, cloud-attested), so a name-based search attributes skill examples to the agent key — it produced a false stop-the-line alarm on PR #19059 #19093 over the liveness ledger's governed types, top-level keys); nothing in a search result distinguishes the two, so a grep hit on a LIVE example reads as evidence about the DEAD key. Measured on fix(spec): the agent.tools liveness row says dead — it claimed live on a key the schema tombstoned #19059: content/docs/ai/agents.mdx was reported as contradicting the agent.tools tombstone over its tools: example at :161, which is inside the defineSkill({ block opened at :155 — the page was already correct. Settle ownership by PARSING the value against both schemas, never by the name: that literal PASSES SkillSchema, and as an AgentSchema it FAILS at tools with the tombstone prescription. ⛔ These names are not the whole class — a key retired through a .strict() guidance map leaves no tombstone in the walked shape and none of them here (tool.category, live as AIToolDefinition.category).

Coarse fallback — 181 page(s) merely mention a changed package (the pre-#9192 predicate, kept for the deliberately-wide backstop): node scripts/docs-audit/affected-docs.mjs --json d77dc07a5e5a4b5478763fb3a2126913c92f8c01 → packageMentionDocs.

Which tree this was computed on

This run read content/docs from eb727a472f4f176429b60d26fde2fea20bfce2f9 — the merge of head 4a25192b91f97cc0c96a3d713abcadc3763daf3b into base d77dc07a5e5a4b5478763fb3a2126913c92f8c01, which is what actions/checkout gives a pull_request run. Not the PR head.

A worktree cut from an older main holds a different content/docs, so re-deriving there can legitimately return a different list — that is a different tree, not a wrong row. To answer on the same tree:

# while this PR is open — GitHub drops the merge commit once it closes
git fetch origin eb727a472f4f176429b60d26fde2fea20bfce2f9 && git checkout eb727a472f4f176429b60d26fde2fea20bfce2f9
# afterwards, rebuild it from the two parents, which stay fetchable
git fetch origin d77dc07a5e5a4b5478763fb3a2126913c92f8c01 4a25192b91f97cc0c96a3d713abcadc3763daf3b && git checkout -B drift-repro d77dc07a5e5a4b5478763fb3a2126913c92f8c01 && git merge --no-ff 4a25192b91f97cc0c96a3d713abcadc3763daf3b

node scripts/docs-audit/affected-docs.mjs --json d77dc07a5e5a4b5478763fb3a2126913c92f8c01

⚠️ That checkout carried uncommitted changes, so the commit above does not fully identify what was read.

Advisory only, and a precision-first one (#9192): a page is listed because it names a
symbol, wire route or SDK method this diff touched — not because it mentions a changed
package. Each row says which anchor put it there, so a wrong row is reportable rather than
merely annoying. To re-verify, run the docs-accuracy-audit workflow scoped to these files:
node scripts/docs-audit/affected-docs.mjs d77dc07a5e5a4b5478763fb3a2126913c92f8c01 → pass the list as
args.docs, on the commit named under Which tree this was computed on.

① Derived judgments

Accept-set changes the diff implies, each judged against the spec on main and ADR-0146 as amended by #28486:

  1. Save door (saveMetaItem, so PUT /api/v1/meta/:type/:name and every authoring path) refuses six new shapes, 403 NOT_OVERRIDABLE — an undeclared same name inside the closure (overlay types answer the gate's own sentence; sealed types still answer the sealed sentence first), overrides on a non-pair package, a declaration naming a package outside the closure or one that ships no such item, overrides on an excluded type, on an object, and on flow/action. Right. Each is a refusal ADR-0146 D2/D6/D9/D10 and ruling A on docs(adr): ADR-0146 amendment — only the paired <base>.custom declares an override; a dependent package adds under its own names (ruled A, withdraws rider 3) #28390 declare; the rule reads OVERRIDE_TYPE_CLASSIFICATION, isCustomizationPairOf and customizationPackageId from @objectstack/spec/kernel and copies none of them; the type list is the spec's closed constant, as D2 requires. Outside the closure the verdict is not_concerned, so ADR-0048 §3.4's coexistence on a bare name stands (pinned: control: outside the closure a same name coexists). A package-less row is not_concerned (pinned), which is N-16's territory and is left alone, correctly.
  2. Save door admits the pair's declared override on an open type and stores it as the pair's own row (intent: runtime-only, the sealed refusal skipped for it). Right. This is the capability the spec declared in N-08 (overrides: { package, basedOn } on the overridable schemas) and that no door delivered until now; basedOn is recorded and never judged, as D2 and "Decided here" item 2 require. The per-item _lock still runs after the gate, so a declared override of a locked base item stays ITEM_LOCKED — consistent with ADR-0010 §3.3 and with the PR's "codes and statuses stay" line.
  3. The sealed sentence on an open overridable type gains the declare-or-rename tail. Right in substance (ADR-0146's supersede row for ADR-0126 §7.1 names exactly refusePackagedBaseOverride as the place the clone advice gives way); the tail is read from the classification, not transcribed (the sealed-remedy-kind pin). One wording gap is listed under ④ (should-fix 2).
  4. Promotion doors (publishMetaItem, publishPackageDrafts) judge the draft body under promoteInto and throw last before the store. Right. A draft stored before the gate, or whose closure has since gained the name, is refused at promotion with the save door's judge and envelope, and the batch reports it in failed (pinned).
  5. @objectstack/metadata-protocol public surface widens by two values and five types (judgeOverrideWrite, overrideWriteItemsOf, OverrideWriteItem, OverrideWriteSubject, OverrideWriteClosure, OverrideWriteRule, OverrideWriteVerdict), one export line. Right, and it is what makes the three doors one judgement rather than three twins; it is why Clause-②: yes carries the (narrowing) arm instead of no.
  6. os validate exits 1 on the same refusals, errors[] rows { path, code, rule, packageId, message }, message equal to the judge's. Right. The walk follows the closure through the artifact's own packages only; a base the artifact does not carry is invisible, which the module header says and the publish/install doors cover. A new VALIDATE_ONLY_GATES row records that os build does not run the gate. Right per the parity test's own contract (a validate-only gate is "a real gap in the build's direction, reported and not closed", and the row is the only honest place for it).
  7. POST /api/v1/marketplace/install-local refuses the delivered package 403 NOT_OVERRIDABLE with details.refusals before any write; the 200 answer of a base (re)install gains an optional overrideCollisions key, omitted when empty. Right. This is Wanted 3 and Wanted 4(a) at the door where a package's items actually enter as code (manifest.register), the retarget the seat's amendment granted and the epic's rider (6553666595) asked for. Collisions are listed, never refused — the dependent's item is the one to rename, which is D2's rule. A base read-only is delivered || !isWritablePackage (booted manifests and system/cloud scopes), the same predicate the lifecycle routes use.
  8. No packages/spec/** shape changes. Right for the shape, wrong for the ledger: three new stamp sites of the registered code NOT_OVERRIDABLE in @objectstack/cli (override-declarations.ts:48, :127) and @objectstack/cloud-connection (marketplace-install-local-plugin.ts:2012) have no owner-key row and no waiver in packages/spec/src/api/error-code-ledger.zod.ts, which is what the provenance guard is red on (③, ④ must-fix 1).
  9. protocol.org-scoped-write-refused.test.ts is not in the file list, so it is unchanged — the card's standing requirement and ADR-0146's supersede row for ADR-0126 D4 wall 1. Right.
  10. scripts/engine-double-contract.pinned.json gains three rows for the new test double's findOne/update/delete asserts, written by the gate's --write. Generated output, read not reviewed.

② Semver level

Changeset .changeset/28410-override-write-gate.md: @objectstack/metadata-protocol, @objectstack/cli, @objectstack/cloud-connection all minor, with the BREAKING banner, Clause-②: yes (narrowing), Metadata-protocol: narrowed, Skills-docs: none — REASON, and one ADR-0087 marker (not-required (no-migration-prescription)), line-initial in both the PR body and the changeset body. Consistent with what the diff publishes and with AGENTS.md Post-Task step 3: a narrowed kind takes at least minor on every package the diff moves (all three carry the gate), (narrowing) is BREAKING, and the arm is yes because the diff also widens (the metadata-protocol exports, the overrideCollisions key, the rule/packageId row fields). The migration the breaking changeset owes is the remedy an author applies — rename, or declare from <base>.custom — and the body states it; nothing authorable is removed or renamed, so no FROM → TO mapping and no tombstone is owed. Skills-docs: none checks out: git grep of skills/** on origin/main finds no overrides: declaration and no .custom teaching. "Check Changeset" is green on the head.

③ Boundary flags

  • Check-runs on b9023312 (read 2026-11-01, two readings ~10 min apart): Lint · docs & code guards is failure — Error-code provenance guard (pnpm --filter @objectstack/spec check:error-code-provenance): "3 stamp site(s) of a registered code with no provenance row", the three named in ①8 — and the required context Lint & Repo Gates has rolled up failure on it. The same job is success on the merge-base 35b178bd and on origin/main 3eb6dfcf, so this is the PR's own red, not a merge-base signature. Test Core shards 2, 3, 5, 7 and 8 were still in_progress at the second reading; every other completed run is success or skipped. Judged on the code; the seat reads the shards before any landing step.
  • Lane red line (lanes/server.md: cards that change the metadata format or the acceptance face go to the spec seat, whether or not they touch packages/spec) — breached on the literal reading, escalated, not a code must-fix. The PR declares Metadata-protocol: narrowed of itself: by AGENTS.md's own definition that is a change to what a metadata author can write, i.e. the acceptance face, and lanes/spec.md reads the contract face as "the same input's accept/reject result changed", which is exactly what this diff does at four doors. The card was cut by the epic under domain:server on the strength of the ADR naming the write gate in metadata-protocol and N-08 (spec seat) having landed the shape first, and the server lane's own file says such a card "goes back to triage" rather than being re-labelled by the seat. So: this review at CONTRACT_REVIEW_TIER is the compensating control the rule asks for; the landing owes triage's acknowledgement (and the spec seat's pointer) that the gate's enforcement half is server work under N-08's closed constants — the record of that goes on the card, not in this PR. The must-fix below makes the ledger point moot in the other direction: the ledger append is the spec lane's pre-approved class (the code already exists under @objectstack/metadata-protocol, the fallback is unchanged, pure append of the two packages' own sections), so no spec-seat signature is owed for it.
  • Open question (os build refusing too, recorded as VALIDATE_ONLY_GATES.findOverrideDeclarationRefusals): safe to land open; it does not need deciding first. The parity test's contract is that a validate-only gate is a reported gap, and this row is honest: an artifact a build emits with a refused declaration or an undeclared same name is refused at the managed install (gated here, before any write) and at the publish doors, so nothing is silently admitted — the cost is a late refusal, not a false acceptance. Answer to the dev's options: A, in a follow-up card, since it widens the card's named gate points and so needs the maintainer's word; the gate reads only the parsed stack, which the parity file names as the shape that belongs in both commands (SHARED_NON_REGISTRY_GATES, like checkDependencyRanges, which is cross-package by construction for the same reason). The seat files that card and leaves the row where it is until then.
  • Dev flag: installPackage → marketplace managed install. Answered by the seat's amendment (6553315966) and asked for by the epic's rider (6553666595); measured true in the cited code (PackageInstallManifestSchema takes no items; importUnmanagedPackage writes through the gated save door). The rider wanted "a test that installs such an artifact through POST on the install-local route and is refused": delivered as a handler-level test of the route (rawApp.routes.get('POST /api/v1/marketplace/install-local')), which exercises the real handler and the real evaluateOverrideWriteGate; accepted.
  • Dev flag: tests beside their doors, not in protocol.packaged-base-refusal.test.ts. Correct — metadata-protocol cannot import cli or cloud-connection; the card's placement was unimplementable as written and the three suites pin the same judge's sentence by equality.
  • Dev flag: rollbackMetaItem computes the override-artifact intent from isArtifactBacked alone. A rollback of the pair's declared override row would be judged as an artifact override by the repository. Carrier N-10/N-16, outside this card's doors; not blocking; the seat should file it rather than leave it as an acceptance note, since it is a reproducible contract gap once N-10's read serves the row.
  • Dev flag: file surface beyond the claim. override-declarations.ts (+ test), validate-override-declarations.test.ts, validate-build-gate-parity.test.ts (the ledger row the parity test demands), protocol.sealed-remedy-kind.test.ts (the sealed one-sentence pin would otherwise go red), the engine-double JSON (--write). All within the lane and the amendment's intent; protocol-package-install.ts and protocol-write-package-scope.ts were named in the claim and not edited, which is right (the closure walk is read, not changed).
  • Limit worth recording, no fix owed: translation is on D2's list but is deliberately not a defineStack() collection (manifest-collection-spelling.test.ts pins translations out of PLURAL_TO_SINGULAR), so the os validate and install walks cannot see translation items by construction; the save door judges each translation write. Likewise a one-package .custom stack validated against a base the artifact does not carry: a declared item is judged with the base assumed to ship it, and an undeclared same name is invisible to validate; both are answered at the publish and install doors, and the module header says so.
  • Author is objectstack-fleet[bot]; PR is draft, not armed; needs:contract-review is on. No packages/spec/**, docs/adr/** or other governed path in the file list.

④ Design judgment

The narrowing makes the spec's own refusal real; it takes no declared capability away at the consumer. On main before this head, N-08's schemas accept overrides: { package, basedOn } on every overridable type and ADR-0146 D2 says the declaration is admitted from the pair alone and refused everywhere else, yet no door read it: a partner's same-named view published 200 (#28238) and a customer's .custom had no way to declare a replacement. That is a declared capability not delivered — an implementation gap — and the diff closes it on the producer side (ADR-0146's own words for the gate), in one pure rule read from the spec's constants, asked at the save door, the promotion, os validate and the managed install. The admit is real (the pair's row is stored with its declaration and promoted as runtime-only; N-10's read on main serves it), and every refusal is one the ADR names, with the ADR's sentence. Nothing a consumer could do before and the spec sanctions is removed: package-less overlay rows (N-16's), items outside the closure, and the hatch are untouched, and the precondition count (0 same-named closure rows in hotcrm a598256 and the examples) says no existing deployment content is refused by it. Read against the acceptance scenarios on the card (Wanted 1–4, 6) each holds in the tree, not only in the PR body.

Tried to break it:

  • Closure and shippers. The protocol reads the closure through resolveWritePackageScope (transitive, resolvePackageClosure) and shippers through shippedArtifactsOf, filtered to read-only packages inside the closure. A registry that cannot produce the written package answers not_concerned, and uninstalledNamedBaseRefusal already refuses that write — the fail-closed direction is kept. A writable shipper is not a base (ADR-0070: edited in place), which is right and keeps no booted or marketplace package out.
  • Ordering at the save door. A refused declaration throws early (so a declared flow reads D9's sentence, not Regime C's clone sentence); the undeclared same name throws last, so a view container's 400 and a lock's ITEM_LOCKED keep their codes — verified in the head's protocol.ts (gate at the strip, sealed check skipped only for admit, the last throw just before the intent is chosen).
  • Install door. Judged on the converted body before step 3's register; multi-package artifacts judged per entry under their own ids; a delivered package's items are read off the body so the gate never asks the registry about a package not yet in it; a reinstall of a dependent does not count its own old version as a dependent (installedIds excludes delivered ids). The collision scan reads dependents through getMetaItems({ type, packageId }), which is the protocol's listing, so a .custom built in Studio is covered as the dev says.
  • Second declarer. After the pair declares, a partner declaring the same item is refused (pinned), which is ruling A's whole point.

Findings:

  1. Must-fix — the head is red on its own change: three NOT_OVERRIDABLE stamp sites with no provenance row. packages/cli/src/utils/override-declarations.ts:48 and :127 (the --json errors[].code the command prints) and packages/cloud-connection/src/marketplace-install-local-plugin.ts:2012 (the plugin's own Hono route answering 403) are real emitters of a registered code, and check:error-code-provenance fails the Lint · docs & code guards job and, through it, the required Lint & Repo Gates. The fix the gate itself prints: a row under '@objectstack/cli' and under '@objectstack/cloud-connection' in packages/spec/src/api/error-code-ledger.zod.ts, each with a comment naming the wire path (for cli, door: 'none' — a CLI exit, like the STACK_PROVENANCE_MISSING row beside it; for cloud-connection, the install-local route, like its INSTALL_MODE_NOT_PERMITTED row). Not a waiver: these doors name the vocabulary themselves and the row is the shape the ledger already uses for NOT_OVERRIDABLE's other three emitters. The rows are the spec lane's pre-approved append class (lanes/spec.md: the code's existence was ruled on its owning card, the fallback is unchanged, pure append of the stamping package's own section), so the PR may carry them; the PR body's "No packages/spec/** file changes" line and the changeset's "the diff touches no packages/spec/** file" sentence in the ADR-0087 marker must then be rewritten to say what the diff does touch (the marker's disposition stays not-required: a ledger row is not a type-surface or runtime-interface change). The new head is a substantive head and owes a fresh full review.
  2. Should-fix — the sealed tail names a route a non-pair writer does not have. sealedDeclareOrRenameTail is appended for every writer of a sealed overridable type (page, app, dataset, doc, book, mapping), and because the sealed refusal runs before the gate's undeclared-same-name throw, a partner package's undeclared same-named page reads "declare an override from '.custom' …, or rename the item", whereas ADR-0146 D2 says a non-pair dependent is told the one fix it has, rename; the gate's own partner sentence (pinned for view/dashboard) is reached only on overlay types. Code and status are right, both fixes named are real routes in the deployment, and the item's author can act on "rename", so this is wording, not acceptance; the cheap cure is to pass the request's packageId into the tail and print the pair clause only when the writer is the pair (or no package), keeping the one-sentence pin.
  3. Should-fix — a malformed overrides is answered by the gate, not the schema. The gate runs at the decoration strip, ~800 lines ahead of the per-type Zod gate, and declarationOf treats any present overrides (including null, a non-object, or one without package) as a declaration, so a body the schema would refuse 400 VALIDATION_ERROR (OverrideDeclarationSchema requires package and basedOn) is answered 403 NOT_OVERRIDABLE declared_outside_pair with the pair sentence. The sentence does say "naming the base in overrides.package", so the author is not misled, and os validate runs the schema first, but the save door's code is the gate's where the fact is the schema's. Either let a declaration that is not an object with a string package fall through to the schema gate, or move the declared-case throw after it; one test either way.

Seat answer to the FAIL record's ③ escalations, head b9023312 · 2026-11-01T06:10Z

…re sealed advice; malformed overrides fall to the schema gate

- The #28409 / #28238 read tests in objectql and rest seeded dependent and
undeclared same-named rows through the save door, which ruling A on
#28390 now refuses. Each now asserts that refusal, then seeds the row
below the gate; the read assertions are unchanged. The package-less save
onto a dependent's same-named row is refused on purpose and pinned so.
- The sealed write's advice reads the writer: the base's paired .custom, or
a write naming no package, is told to declare or rename; any other
package is told to rename, since only the pair may declare.
- An `overrides` value OverrideDeclarationSchema refuses is not judged as a
declaration: the save door's schema gate answers it (422
  INVALID_METADATA) in place of 403 declared_outside_pair. os validate's
walker reads a declared base the same way.
- The rest sealed-sentence pin and the changeset are updated.

…ge its address gives

The save door judged the override write gate before a save naming no
package resolved its address, so a package-less save landing in a
dependent's same-named row was "not concerned" and wrote the very row the
same save naming the dependent is refused. The last refusal before the
store now re-asks the gate for the inherited package (the publish
address, or the draft address's package).

Seat note on contract-review-claim 6555116754: the seat yields this review to triage#1 and will not run its own on 15969ace. One thing to know: the dev has merged origin/main locally (to regenerate the engine-double pin after #28507/#28409 moved) and will push that merge as the next head, plus the PR body edits the seat applies from report 6554946263. If the PR's own diff against main is unchanged by that merge apart from the regenerated pin, the seat will carry your record to the new head with a Regen-provenance line; otherwise the new head owes a fresh review and the seat will say so here.

…s down below the gate

#28595's GET /packages/:id/customizations test seeded a non-pair
declaration and an undeclared pair row through the save door, which the
override write gate refuses (ruling A on #28390). Each now asserts that
refusal and its sentence, then lays the row down with the gate answering
not_concerned for that save alone; the read assertions are unchanged.

Seat note: CI is red on 21bc1b51, and it is this PR's. It is the same shape as the #28409 / #28238 read pins this PR already re-seeds before the gate. ① Derived judgments

The FAIL record 6554280633 on b9023312 (server seat 1) read the whole diff; its ①1–①10 were re-read on this head against the tree and hold unchanged except where the delta moved them. Stated again here as this head's own judgments, so the record stands alone:

  1. One rule, three doors. judgeOverrideWrite(subject, closure) (protocol-packaged-base-refusal.ts) is a pure verdict — admit | one named refuse | not_concerned — reading N-08's OVERRIDE_TYPE_CLASSIFICATION, isCustomizationPairOf, customizationPackageId / customizationBasePackageId and now OverrideDeclarationSchema from @objectstack/spec/kernel, copying none. Order: declared → type (D10 object → declared_object; excluded → declared_type_not_overridable; flow/action with D9 conditions → declared_type_not_yet_available) → who declares (declared_outside_pair, the pair alone) → what it names (declared_package_outside_closure, declared_package_ships_no_such_item) → admit; undeclared → refused only when a read-only package of the closure ships the name on an overridable type (undeclared_same_name, the pair told declare-or-rename, any other package told rename). Outside the closure not_concerned (ADR-0048 §3.4 coexistence pinned). Right against ADR-0146 D2/D6/D9/D10 as amended by docs(adr): ADR-0146 amendment — only the paired .custom declares an override; basedOn records the base package version (ruling A) #28486 and ruling A on docs(adr): ADR-0146 amendment — only the paired <base>.custom declares an override; a dependent package adds under its own names (ruled A, withdraws rider 3) #28390.
  2. Save door (saveMetaItem, every authoring path): gate asked once ahead of the tenant-authored and sealed checks; a refused declaration throws there (so a declared flow reads D9's sentence, not Regime C's clone sentence); the sealed refusal is skipped only for admit; the undeclared-same-name refusal is the last throw before the store, after every refusal the door already answered (container 400, ITEM_LOCKED kept); an admitted declaration stores as the pair's own runtime-only row. Right. Delta on this head: a save naming no package, judged not_concerned as package-less, is re-judged for the package its address gives (publish: the resolved request.packageId; draft: draftAddress.into), so a package-less save cannot land in a dependent's undeclared same-named row (15969ace; the metadata-protocol: a same-named item in a dependent package replaces the base package's item for package-less reads and in the base app #28238 "write address does not move" pin now expects 403 NOT_OVERRIDABLE, address assertion kept). Right by ruling A — the dependent's row has one fix, rename — and the only write behaviour the PR refuses on purpose; the precondition count (0 same-named closure rows in hotcrm a598256 and the examples) says no deployment content meets it.
  3. Promotion doors (promoteDraftForPublish, so publishMetaItem and publishPackageDrafts): judged on the draft body under promoteInto, thrown last before repo.promoteDraft; a batch reports it in failed; the admitted declaration promotes runtime-only. Right (a draft stored before the gate, or whose closure since gained the name, is refused where it would become live).
  4. Sealed sentence, writer-aware (should-fix 2 of the FAIL record, 96f6f99e): on an open overridable type the pair — or a write naming no package — reads "declare an override from '.custom' … or rename"; any other named package reads "rename the item: only '.custom' may declare an override of ''". sealed-remedy-kind pin reads the tail from the classification, never transcribed; rest-meta-packaged-flow-refusal pin updated for the package-less PUT. Right: code and status unchanged, each writer now told exactly the routes it has (D2).
  5. A malformed overrides is no declaration (should-fix 3, 96f6f99e): declarationOf and the validate walker read overrides through OverrideDeclarationSchema.safeParse; a value the schema refuses is not_concerned for the gate and the door's own schema gate answers it (422 INVALID_METADATA at the protocol door, pinned ×5 in the gate suite). Right: the fact is the schema's, and the gate — which runs ahead of the schema gate — no longer answers 403 in its place. The declarationOf docblock names the door's 422 INVALID_METADATA on this head (4a25192b; it said 400 VALIDATION_ERROR on 21bc1b51).
  6. @objectstack/metadata-protocol public surface widens by two values and five types in one export line (judgeOverrideWrite, overrideWriteItemsOf, OverrideWriteItem, OverrideWriteSubject, OverrideWriteClosure, OverrideWriteRule, OverrideWriteVerdict). Right, and it is why Clause-② carries the yes arm beside (narrowing).
  7. os validate 3a-iii (utils/override-declarations.ts): each package of the artifact, or the stack as one, judged against its closure followed through the artifact's own packages; same name found only where both packages are in the artifact; a declared base in the closure but not in the artifact is assumed to ship the name (the publish door reads that fact); exit 1, rows { path, code: 'NOT_OVERRIDABLE', rule, packageId, message } with the judge's sentence verbatim. VALIDATE_ONLY_GATES.findOverrideDeclarationRefusals records that os build does not run it. Right per the parity test's own contract (a reported gap, not a closed one).
  8. Marketplace managed install 2d (evaluateOverrideWriteGate, before any write): delivered packages (packages[] per entry, or the body) read off the body; closures through registry dependencies; bases = delivered or !isWritablePackage; shippers via getMetaItems({ type, packageId }) (code-registered and stored items alike, so a Studio-built .custom counts); 403 NOT_OVERRIDABLE with details.refusals, nothing registered, no ledger entry; on a base (re)install overrideCollisions on the 200 answer (installed dependents via registry.getAllPackages, which packages/objectql/src/registry.ts:7126 has; delivered ids excluded, so a reinstall does not count its own old version), key omitted when empty. Right: Wanted 3 and 4(a) at the door where items actually enter as code — the seat's amendment 6553315966 and the epic's rider 6553666595.
  9. @objectstack/spec: only the error-code provenance ledger (must-fix 1, 9ead6858): NOT_OVERRIDABLE appended under @objectstack/cli (door: 'none', like STACK_PROVENANCE_MISSING beside it) and @objectstack/cloud-connection (the install-local 403, like INSTALL_MODE_NOT_PERMITTED), each with its wire-path comment; union, casing and schemas unchanged. Right, and it is the spec lane's pre-approved append class (code already registered, fallback unchanged, pure append of the stamping packages' own sections) — no spec-seat signature owed.
  10. Read pins re-seeded below the gate (rest metadata-protocol: one effective read — package-less, base-named, layered, the env-wide list and export serve the .custom declared override, and a withdrawn public form stays withdrawn #28409 withdrawal, objectql effective-read ×5, package-less read ×3, and on this head feat(runtime, spec): GET /packages/:id/customizations answers a base's overrides, extensions and switched-off items in one read #28595's runtime packages-customizations.test.ts ×2 — the Test Core (3/8) red of 21bc1b51, cd852e2a): each asserts the door's 403 NOT_OVERRIDABLE for the dependent's same-named row first, then seeds it with protocol.overrideWriteVerdict shadowed to not_concerned for that one save (restored in finally); every read assertion unchanged. Right — a pre-gate row is exactly what those pins describe, and the gate's own refusal is asserted on the way.
  11. protocol.org-scoped-write-refused.test.ts not in the file list — unchanged, as the card and ADR-0146's supersede row for ADR-0126 D4 wall 1 require. scripts/engine-double-contract.pinned.json: generated (--write), regenerated on the merge, differs from origin/main by this PR's three rows only (protocol.packaged-base-refusal.test.ts delete/findOne/update).

② Semver level

Changeset .changeset/28410-override-write-gate.md: @objectstack/metadata-protocol / @objectstack/cli / @objectstack/cloud-connection minor, @objectstack/spec patch, BREAKING banner, Clause-②: yes (narrowing), Metadata-protocol: narrowed, Skills-docs: none — REASON, ADR-0087 not-required (no-migration-prescription) marker (rewritten to name the one spec file touched). Consistent: narrowed ⇒ ≥ minor on each package the gate moves; (narrowing) ⇒ BREAKING; the arm is yes because the diff also widens (the exports, overrideCollisions, the rule/packageId row fields); a provenance-ledger append changes no type surface or runtime interface, so patch on spec is the right level and the marker's disposition stays not-required. The migration a breaking changeset owes is the remedy an author applies (rename, or declare from <base>.custom), stated in the body; nothing authorable is removed or renamed, so no FROM → TO mapping and no tombstone. Skills-docs: none holds (git grep of skills/** on origin/main: no overrides: declaration, no .custom teaching). PR body (edited on this head): the Clause-② paragraph now names the one packages/spec/** file touched, the sealed-sentence bullet is writer-aware, the malformed-overrides and package-less re-judgement bullets are in, Tests says 63 and A18–A20, Verification is this head's — the body and the changeset read the same contract.

③ Boundary flags

  • Check-runs: on 4a25192b every latest-per-name run is completed, 53 success + 11 skipped (Lint & Repo Gates, all 8 Test Core shards, all Test UI shards, both type checks, Check Changeset green); the 21bc1b51 red (Test Core (3/8), feat(runtime, spec): GET /packages/:id/customizations answers a base's overrides, extensions and switched-off items in one read #28595's fixtures seeding through the now-gated saveMetaItem) is closed by the re-seed in cd852e2a, which asserts the door's 403 NOT_OVERRIDABLE with each row's own sentence first and leaves every read assertion unchanged.
  • Lane red line (lanes/server.md: a change to the acceptance face goes to the spec seat) — raised by the FAIL record, answered by the seat (6554284418): the card was cut under domain:server by the epic as child N-09, implementing docs(adr): ADR-0146 amendment — only the paired <base>.custom declares an override; a dependent package adds under its own names (ruled A, withdraws rider 3) #28390 ruling A with N-08's schema already on main; the only packages/spec/** edit is the ledger append. Carried as the seat's answer, not a code must-fix; this review at CONTRACT_REVIEW_TIER is the compensating control. The record of triage's acknowledgement belongs on the card.
  • os build open question (VALIDATE_ONLY_GATES row): safe to land open — an artifact a build emits with a refused item is refused at the managed install and the publish doors with the same judge, so the cost is a late refusal, never a false acceptance. The seat's answer A (follow-up card) stands.
  • Dev flags answered on this head: installPackage → managed install (amendment + rider, measured true: PackageInstallManifestSchema takes no items; importUnmanagedPackage writes through the gated save door); tests beside their doors (metadata-protocol cannot import cli/cloud-connection); rollbackMetaItem intent from isArtifactBacked alone — N-10/N-16 territory, the seat files it.
  • Limits, no fix owed: translation is on D2's list but is no defineStack() collection, so the validate and install walks cannot see it (the save door judges each translation write); a one-package .custom stack validated without its base assumes the base ships the declared name; a package-less save that DECLARES is refused early as declared_outside_pair even when its address would resolve to the pair (the writer names the pair to declare — the out-of-scope note in 6554946263); the read side (isServedOverrideRowOf, feat(metadata-protocol): one effective read serves the .custom declared override; the env-wide list and export agree; a withdrawn public form stays withdrawn #28507) treats a stored overrides: { package } without basedOn as a declaration while the write side now refuses such a value at the schema gate, so no door writes one.
  • Author objectstack-fleet[bot]; draft, not armed; needs:contract-review on. No docs/adr/**, no skills/**.

④ Design judgment

The narrowing delivers the spec's declared capability and takes nothing sanctioned away. Before this head, N-08's schemas accepted overrides: { package, basedOn } and ADR-0146 D2 said only the pair declares, yet no door read it: a partner's same-named view published 200 (#28238) and a customer's .custom had no way to replace a base item. The diff closes that on the producer side in one pure rule asked at the save door, the promotion, os validate and the managed install; the admit is real (the pair's row stored with its declaration, promoted runtime-only, served by N-10's read on main); every refusal is one the ADR names, with the ADR's sentence, on the code and status the sealed write already answers. The one write the PR refuses that used to pass — a package-less save landing in a dependent's undeclared same-named row — is ruling A applied to the row's package, with no deployment content on it today.

Tried to break it on this head:

  • Package-less re-judgement ordering. The early gate runs before the address is resolved (L≈20860 vs L≈21111), so it sees packageId: null; the re-judgement runs only when the early verdict was not_concerned, the caller named no package and the write is an authoring save (source === undefined, not package-duplicate) — exactly the saves whose address the door resolves. A publish-mode save re-judges request.packageId (set to address.packageId by then); a draft save draftAddress.into; an ambiguous address is already the repository's 409. A declaration never reaches it (refused early as package-less). No path writes a dependent's same-named row unjudged.
  • Malformed declarations. safeParse accepts the schema's aliases (packageId, base, version…), so an aliased declaration is judged as a declaration — consistent with what the schema gate would store. null, a string, an empty package, a .custom base, a missing basedOn, an unknown key: not a declaration, so an undeclared same name under them is still refused (pinned) and otherwise the schema gate answers 422.
  • Install door. Judged on converted before step 3's register; per-entry ids on multi-package artifacts; a delivered package's items and dependencies read off the body, never asked of a registry that does not hold it yet; heldBy reads one listing per (type, package), filtered to the package's own _packageId; isBase = delivered or read-only, so a writable (project) shipper is no base (ADR-0070, edited in place). Collisions are listed, never refused — the dependent's item is the one to rename.
  • Second declarer. After the pair declares, a partner declaring the same item is refused (pinned) — ruling A's point.

Findings: no must-fix, no should-fix on this head (the one should-fix of the lane's read on 21bc1b51, the declarationOf docblock, is fixed in 4a25192b).

  1. Note for the follow-up card (no fix here): the os build question. Recommended A — wire findOverrideDeclarationRefusals into compile.ts beside checkDependencyRanges in a follow-up card, since it widens the card's named gate points; until then the VALIDATE_ONLY_GATES row is the honest record and nothing is admitted silently (install and publish doors refuse the same items).
  2. Note for N-10/N-16 (no fix here): rollbackMetaItem reads the override-artifact intent from isArtifactBacked alone, so a rollback of the pair's declared row is judged as an artifact override; and a stored legacy overrides: { package } without basedOn is a declaration to the read side but refused by the write side's schema gate — both are the rollback/read cards' to close, and the seat said it files them.

item reading
Shape Draft, base main, Fixes #28410. 20 files, +1956 / −34; labels documentation, size/xl, tests, tooling. The only packages/spec/** edit is the error-code provenance ledger append (NOT_OVERRIDABLE under @objectstack/cli and @objectstack/cloud-connection), which the review grades as the spec lane's pre-approved append class. The lane red line was raised by the seat's FAIL record 6554280633 and answered in 6554284418 (card cut under domain:server as epic child N-09, implementing #28390 ruling A on N-08's schema already on main); the review carries that answer at CONTRACT_REVIEW_TIER as the compensating control.
Diff check (seat) Since the seat's FAIL record on b9023312, the heads moved by: the must-fix ledger append (9ead6858); the writer-aware sealed sentence and the safeParse reading of overrides (96f6f99e); the package-less re-judgement at the resolved address (15969ace); two merges of origin/main, changing one context line of the generated engine-double pin and bringing #28595's packages-customizations.test.ts, re-seeded below the gate (cd852e2a, each case asserting the door's 403 NOT_OVERRIDABLE first); and the declarationOf docblock alone (4a25192b). Each pin re-seeded below the gate asserts the refusal first and keeps every read assertion unchanged. The PR body's Verification section carries the cd852e2a re-run.
Evidence CI on 4a25192b: 58 success, 13 skipped, 0 failed, mergeable_state clean, and the required Test Core, TypeScript Type Check, Lint & Repo Gates and Build Core contexts read success in the latest reading. Governed check: NOT governed, 0 of 20 paths on the register, 1990 changed lines (under the 3000 human-merge threshold). The cd852e2a re-run gives @objectstack/runtime 505/505 files (9106 tests), packages-customizations.test.ts 13/13, and 98 of 98 derived gate families run, 0 NOT-MEASURED; red first is CI Test Core (3/8) job 124795448012 on 21bc1b51.
Landing 「按照 pm-dispatch 规则复核过的都授权」 (Leehom, 2026-10-25T11:35Z): ready and auto-merge through the relay, once every check on this head is green or an expected skip. The review's two notes (the os build wiring of findOverrideDeclarationRefusals, and the rollbackMetaItem intent / legacy overrides without basedOn reading) are filed by the seat as #28643 and #28644, not fixed here.
