I want to build a web app called StarkFi — a professional-grade yet user-friendly DeFi portal for the StarkNet ecosystem.

The app’s purpose is to aggregate investment opportunities across StarkNet protocols — including AMMs, staking, lending/borrowing, perps, options, and more — and empower users to build advanced, automated multi-protocol strategies.

It’s designed for crypto holders of all levels: newcomers can explore and invest safely with simplified views of risk, APY, and health factors, while advanced users can create custom vaults, automate strategies, and track detailed performance metrics. Key Features to Include:

Portfolio Dashboard: showing positions, APY, health factor, unrealized gains/losses, protocol exposure.

Strategy Builder: drag-and-drop or modular interface to compose cross-protocol strategies (e.g. stake → borrow → LP).

Vault Marketplace: users can browse and deploy shared or community-made vault strategies.

Design Vibe:

Clean, professional with a crypto-native aesthetic (think: dashboards, data, dark mode).

Inspiration: Zapper.xyz, DeFiLlama, Instadapp.

Tech Stack:

Frontend: React (with Tailwind CSS for styling, if possible).

Backend: Node.js

For data, assume a backend that fetches on-chain positions from StarkNet protocols (mocked or stubbed initially).

Implementation Guidance:

Please scaffold the app with routing (e.g., /portfolio, /builder, /vaults).

Include placeholder data and basic components for each section (dashboard cards, builder UI skeleton, vault previews).

Use clean, modular code and comments — I want to expand this later.

Focus first on the Portfolio and Vault Marketplace UIs with mock data; then help flesh out the Strategy Builder UX.

This is meant to be a foundation layer — don’t worry about full backend integrations yet, but design the app so that protocol data and smart contract interactions can be wired in later.
