ESLint 10.0.2 breaks because some of our tooling isn’t ready for it yet. Our config (via eslint-config-mitodl/flow) uses @babel/eslint-parser, which depends on older eslint-scope internals that ESLint 10 no longer exposes. With ESLint 10 these mismatches cause runtime errors when loading the parser, before any of our rules even run. Fixing this would require coordinated upgrades of Babel, @babel/eslint-parser, and likely eslint-config-mitodl, which is a much larger migration than a simple version bump. |
