Bot Issue

The bot insta-claims the first roll that drops even though I've tweaked my settings so much to try and prevent that. I launched it this morning, and it rolled ten just fine. Used my vote claims, then when I manually rolled, it claimed the first trash roll! I've been dealing with this since yesterday and apparently absolutely nothing is working to fix it so I'm just going to ask the owner. Help! I don't know if it has anything to do with being connected to my hotspot since Discord has blocked my account and the bot crashes if I'm on the house wifi. Here is my code block:

I took a look at your config and found the issue. You have "kakera_snipe_mode": true enabled, but you are missing "kakera_snipe_threshold" in your JSON.

When that setting is missing, the bot defaults it to 0. Since you are rolling manually, the bot isn't in its active rolling state, so it treats the roll as an external drop and evaluates it against the value snipe logic. Because the threshold is 0, it immediately claims the first "trash" roll that drops.

To fix this, you can edit your JSON directly, or if you're using the preset editor (mudae_preset_editor.py):

1. Open your preset in the editor.
2. Scroll down to the "Sniping & Stealing" section.
3. Look for the checkbox labeled "Value Sniping (Snipe expensive characters rolled by others)" (this is your kakera_snipe_mode).
4. Once you check that box, a sub-option will appear right below it: "Minimum Value to Steal (Only steal if worth this much)" (this is your kakera_snipe_threshold). Change this from 0 to your preferred minimum (like 500).

If you don't want to snipe based on kakera value at all, just uncheck the "Value Sniping..." checkbox entirely.

It worked! Thank you so much. However, I now have another issue: despite (I think) having the appropriate settings in the json, the bot keeps saying "$rolls" after it finishes rolling. I want it to stop doing that because I feel like that would become sus quickly. Please help.

I'm glad the first issue is resolved!

The reason the bot keeps sending the $rolls command after you finish rolling is because you have "auto_rolls_enabled": true turned on in your configuration. This setting tells the bot to automatically use your extra daily rolls when your default rolls run out.

To make the bot stop sending this command, you just need to disable that feature.

Option 1: Edit your JSON directly

Find this line in your config:
"auto_rolls_enabled": true,

And change it to:
"auto_rolls_enabled": false,

Option 2: Use the Preset Editor (GUI)

1. Open your preset in the editor (mudae_preset_editor.py).
2. Scroll down to the Rolling Options section.
3. Uncheck the box labeled "Automatically Use Daily Rolls ($rolls)".
4. Click Save Changes at the bottom.

This will stop the bot from sending the $rolls command at the end of your rolling sequences.
