Thanks for the contribution! I recently reorganized the categories in the README, so this PR now has conflicts. Could you please update your branch from the latest main and place the entry in the appropriate section of the current README structure? Please keep the change limited to this entry. Thanks! |

Updated from the latest main and placed the unchanged Selvedge entry under Customize → MCP Servers → Memory & Context. The diff against main is limited to that single line; the project link and description are unchanged. Thanks for pointing out the reorganization. |

Selvedge is an MIT-licensed local decision-memory tool. It stores explicitly recorded decisions, reasons, and rejected approaches in project-local SQLite and exposes retrieval through stdio MCP and a CLI. I maintain the project.
📈 Proof of Traction
The PyPI Stats recent-download endpoint, captured on 2026-10-02, reported 249 downloads in the preceding week and 1,008 in the preceding month. The GitHub repository currently has 24 stars. These are download/star signals, not a count of distinct users or proof of production usage.
