Installation

Once downloaded, go into the ZIP file and put its folder into your custom folder inside the tf folder.

\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\custom

If you've instal it through GitHub, make sure to rename its folder from maxihud-main to maxihud.

Launch Options

Before launching the game with this HUD, be sure to remove any -exec commands in your launch options.

Mod Limit Fix

If you have Mod Limit Fixer/Updater installed, go into the _ModLimitFix folder and remove its chat_english.txt file in order for the HUD's custom text to be displayed correctly.

The chat_english.txt file will be re-added every time you use the mod_limit_fix.bat executable.

Do NOT remove the chat_english.txt file inside the maxihud folder!

Uninstallation

When uninstalling MaxiHud v17 or later, delete the maxihud folder and maxihud_temporary_cfg_backup.cfg file in your game's cfg folder.

\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\cfg
