Summary

  • Adds a Claude-logo button to each worktree's launch buttons that opens the worktree in Claude Code inside Claude Desktop.
  • Resumes the worktree's most recent Claude Code session via claude://resume?session=<id>; if there is none, creates one with claude -p --session-id <uuid> "/rename <worktree>" (local command, no model call).
  • Names untitled sessions after the worktree folder, so sessions from the same repo are distinguishable in Desktop. Titles set by the user are kept.
  • Falls back to open -a Claude <path> (new untitled session) when the claude CLI isn't found.

Notes

  • claude://resume and Desktop reading custom-title on import are undocumented Desktop behaviour, so this may need updating if Desktop changes.
  • Sessions already imported into Desktop keep their existing title; Desktop only reads the title on first import.

Test plan

  • bun run typecheck
  • bun run test
  • Click the button on a worktree with and without existing sessions and check the session opens in Desktop with the worktree name

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Opens the worktree in Claude Desktop, resuming its latest Claude Code
session or creating one named after the worktree.
