MAIR Paper Club is a regular community activity by Moroccans in AI Research (MAIR) where members present, explain, and discuss important AI papers in an accessible and collaborative way.
The club aims to make advanced AI research more accessible to Moroccan students, engineers, researchers, and builders, strengthen their ability to read, present, and critically evaluate scientific papers, and create a regular space for scientific literature and technical discussion, as well as community learning.
Sessions are usually presented in Darija. Each session explores a paper’s core ideas, technical contributions, limitations, and relevance to research, industry, education, and local opportunities, helping connect global AI developments with the Moroccan and wider Maghreb ecosystem.
