Design → System.
Strata is a front-end automation engine that transforms Figma designs into clean, production-ready code. By leveraging proprietary research in design-to-code synthesis, it streamlines the transition from creative intent to technical implementation.
Front-end teams often face significant overhead when translating design files into logic. Strata eliminates this friction by providing a predictable, automated workflow that ensures design and implementation remain inherently aligned.
This repository serves as the public interface for documentation and integration guidelines. The core transformation engine and AI inference modules operate within secure infrastructure to ensure performance, security, and intellectual property protection.
The Strata engine is powered by LOROMELA’s ongoing research into Autonomous Design Interpretation (ADI). Unlike standard export tools, Strata utilizes:
- Neural Structural Mapping: A proprietary approach to identifying layout hierarchies and parent-child relationships without explicit grouping.
- Contextual Token Synthesis: AI-driven prediction of design tokens based on visual weight, spatial relationships, and brand consistency.
- Heuristic Refinement: A post-inference layer that cleanses generated code to meet strict human-readable standards and DRY (Don't Repeat Yourself) principles.
Strata facilitates the automated generation of:
- Semantic HTML: Structured for accessibility.
- Style Systems: Lean CSS utility architectures.
- Component Scaffolding: Framework-specific or framework-agnostic output.
- State Management: Intelligent handling of states.
The engine is designed to be compatible with modern web environments:
- Frameworks: React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, SolidJS.
- Standards: TypeScript, Lit, WebComponents.
- Design: High-fidelity work is conducted in Figma.
- Inference: The ADI engine analyzes the design hierarchy and predicts structural intent.
- Delivery: The engine produces front-end code that mirrors the design intent and structural layout.
- Deterministic Class Naming: Predictable, readable naming conventions.
- Maintainable Output: Clean code that follows best practices, not "spaghetti" exports.
- Reduced Manual Work: Significant reduction in repetitive CSS and boilerplate authoring.
- Pipeline Integration: Generated assets can be integrated via CLI or CI/CD development workflows.
- Privacy: Strata processes designs securely. No user data or proprietary design assets are retained beyond the active generation session.
LOROMELA is an independent, privately held engineering group rooted in the UK and Italy. We focus on long-term, sustainable engineering practices and the development of high-performance automation tools.
