I'm Lorenzo — a Research Software Engineer at the BioVisionCenter, University of Zurich, building open-source Python (and increasingly Rust 🦀) tooling for scalable, FAIR bioimage analysis.
- 🔬 I work on OME-Zarr–native workflows for life-science imaging: segmentation, registration, measurement, and everything around getting big microscopy data analysed at scale.

- ngio — a Python library that streamlines OME-Zarr image analysis workflows (high-level container API + powerful ROI/region iterators).
- Fractal — an open-source framework for scalable, OME-Zarr-based bioimage analysis pipelines.
