Draft of LP-0029, a private messenger Basecamp app built on the Logos Chat module.
Tracks logos-co/ecosystem#192.
Shape
Medium, same class as LP-0017. The crypto and protocols belong to
chat_moduleand libchat (RD-chat), so this prize pays only for the app layer that is missing today:Changes to the chat protocol or module are out of scope.
Gate
The prize can't open on
chat_modulev0.3.0: it creates a new identity on every launch. libchat already persists the installation (logos-chat#280). The draft opens once a module release ships that and works on testnet 0.4.Adoption
Chat leaves no public trace and the app may not collect analytics, so the criteria use community use instead of counts:
The thresholds are proposals. Groups are capped at 20 members (logos-chat#199), so the per-group numbers stay small.
Open points
$X.devnet.chat-kc.logos.co). The draft counts it as part of the Logos stack, which conflicts with the usual "no centralised server" rule. Needs a call.
