How to Play

1. Clone this repository:

   git clone (https://github.com/loganihrishi/FlappyBird.git)
   cd FlappyBird

2. Ensure you have LÖVE2D installed on your system.

3. Run the game by executing the following command in the project directory:

   love .

4. Controls:

   • Press the Spacebar to make the bird jump.
   • Navigate through the gaps between the pipes to score points.
   • Avoid hitting the pipes or falling to the ground!

Why I Built This

I built this game because I was feeling nostalgic and wanted to learn Lua. What better way to combine those two things than by creating a game? Flappy Bird is simple yet engaging, which made it the perfect choice for exploring game development fundamentals.

To complete the full nostalgic experience, I included the track On & On as the background music. It adds the perfect vibe to relive the joy of classic Flappy Bird gameplay.
