version 1.6.29 broke our zoom plugin

can we please get changelogs for versions and have semver followed? it seems like breaking changes are making it into minor releases.

can you please be more specific than "broke our zoom plugin".

the intent for all releases is to follow semver, they should not have breaking changes. maybe there was a change that fixed some previous misbehavior that you relied on without knowing it? i have no idea how to troubleshoot this.

version 1.6.29 changed the order of when cursor.left and cursor.top is set which we were relying on. even just knowing this order changed would have helped as i had to update version by version to workout which one caused the break and then go commit by commit to see which changes in that specific version caused this.

feels like changing the order should have been a breaking change. 🤔

a changelog would have helped narrow down the issue a lot faster.

i believe this commit was the issue.
