Katrin Talkenberger, Ph.D.

Ph.D. | Senior Software Engineer | Technical Author

I write technical documentation as an engineer who has built and verified the systems it describes. I hold a PhD in mathematics and have worked for almost eight years on safety-critical automotive software under ISO 26262, with a focus on model-based development.

🌟 What I combine

Academic training PhD in mathematics (modeling and simulation). I apply the working methods of the discipline: structured problem analysis, precise definitions and rigorous argument.
Engineering Almost eight years in automotive software under ISO 26262 (ASIL B) and ASPICE: model-based development, tool development and process automation, verification and requirements traceability.
Documentation Scientific publications and PhD thesis. Safety documentation across the ISO 26262 lifecycle, including contributions to a Technical Safety Concept. Process and toolchain documentation. Software documentation for developers. Research proposal and feasibility documentation for an AI sensor system.
