I was a little surprised to find Miroslav Philharmonik 2 .reabank files weren't out there anywhere. I've been using MP2 lately, & found myself making some. And once I got started, it made sense to complete the set; otherwise, I had to pause work every time I wanted to add an instrument.
These focus on MP2 for all strings, brass & woodwinds. They also work fine in SampleTank 3 & 4. ST4 is preferred. Not tested with MP1 or MP2 CE.
Each bank has a corresponding multi patch, which I've loaded into the Reaper stash: https://stash.reaper.fm/v/52569/Reaticulate_Miroslav_Philharmonik_2.zip
I tried to make each bank/multi as expressive & flexible as possible. This is a hybrid approach, mixing keyswitches & channels:
Most articulations are available via keyswitch, KS instruments. Some are available only as instruments (non-KS). Some are velocity-sensitive VS or looped LP instruments.
I have found that these MP2 multis can be loaded by MP2, SampleTank3 and SampleTank4. ST4, I think, is best, as it has better editing and FX and it runs properly in 64-bit hosts. They sound best in ST4, more lively.
Also, ST4 displays more accurate note ranges... MP2 & ST3 show notes as in range that they won't play (e.g., 1st trumpet solo port/legato). What's happening is that different keyswitches have different ranges; the ST4 UI reflects this, the older ones don't, & it's a little deceiving. It looks like keyswitches aren't working, when in reality, the notes went out of range for that keyswitch.
