LinCode

Chrome extension that adds a Share button to your submissions on the LeetCode daily question. Click it and you get a message ready to paste into Discord:

[**__LeetCode Daily__**](https://leetcode.com/problems/find-x-value-of-array-i/description/?envType=daily-question&envId=2026-09-21) – September 21, 2026

**Difficulty:** Medium
**Language:** Python3
**Runtime:** 307 ms (87.67%)

In Discord, "LeetCode Daily" turns into a link to that day's problem. The percentage is LeetCode's "Beats" number for your runtime.

Install

Get it from the Chrome Web Store, or load it from source:

  1. Clone or download this repo.
  2. Open chrome://extensions and turn on Developer mode.
  3. Click Load unpacked and pick the repo folder.
  4. Reload any open LeetCode tab.

Use

Open the daily question from LeetCode's problem list or calendar (the URL needs envType=daily-question in it), go to the Submissions tab and click Share on the submission you want. Then paste into Discord.

Every submission gets a button, failed ones included (their runtime shows as N/A). The details come from LeetCode's own API for that exact submission, using the LeetCode login already in your browser. Your newest submission is loaded as soon as the list shows up and the others when you hover their button, so by the time you click, the data is usually already there. See privacy-policy.md.

Develop

npm install
npm test # share text unit tests
npm run lint
npm run store # render the Chrome Web Store images into dist/
npm run package # build dist/lincode-<version>.zip for the Chrome Web Store

The store images are drawn in store/ and rendered with headless Chrome (set CHROME_PATH if it isn't found). To preview one, open store/store.html#screenshot-1 in a browser; the other scenes are #screenshot-2, #promo-small and #promo-marquee. The icon in icons/ is hand-drawn, so edit those PNGs directly.

Publishing a new version

  1. Bump version in manifest.json (the store rejects a version it has already seen).
  2. npm run package.
  3. In the Chrome Web Store developer dashboard, open the item, go to Package, upload the new zip and submit for review.
