The ghostget.com 404 was a site-local page: no site header, a list of six links (llms.txt, the XML sitemap, contact, privacy), and "Return to ghostget.com". It now renders the shared design-kit status page from v0.21.0, like every other Hraness site.

What the reader sees

  • Install Ghostget (/#start) as the primary button, the same action as the homepage hero.
  • "Did you mean …?" for a mistyped or moved address, matched against every public page, the WebMCP provider pages, the blog, and each listed post. The labels are the pages' short titles (WebMCP pages use their domain).
  • Three next links:
    • Getting started: "Install the CLI, read your first page, and watch the recorded demo."
    • Supported sites and actions: "Every site and named action your agent can call, and how each one runs."
    • About Ghostget: "What the CLI and SDK do, and what they leave to your agent."
  • One quiet /llms.txt line for agents, the full site header with the appearance menu, the project disclosure row, and the shared footer.
  • The "404" glyph drawn as the design-kit dot field (source/status-page.ts bundles attachStatusPage; the CSS build adds status-page.css).

The markdown 404 (404.md, served to Accept: text/markdown) keeps the install guide, llms.txt, and sitemap links.

Removed

The route-state and recovery-list CSS, the 404-only privacy sentence (the page now carries the same disclosure row as every other page), and the headerless-404 fallback in appearance.ts.

Evidence

  • bun run check:theme, website:typecheck, website:test (131 pass), website:build, root typecheck.
  • Real browser (agent-browser) against the built dist/ served with a 404 fallback: HTTP 404, data-hraness-status-field="live" at 1440 and 390 px in light and dark, no horizontal overflow, header and footer present; /docs/tutorials/getting-startd/ shows "Did you mean Get started with Ghostget?".

Production: ghostget.com promotes only on a release (website-production), so this goes live with the next Ghostget release.

The 404 now uses renderStatusPageHtml and attachStatusPage from
design-kit v0.21.0: Install Ghostget as the primary action (the homepage
hero's), three next links (getting started, supported sites and actions,
about), a quiet /llms.txt line, and every public page and listed post as
routes for "Did you mean". It keeps the full site header, the project
disclosure, and the shared footer. The site-local route-state CSS, the
recovery list, and the headerless appearance fallback are gone. The
markdown 404 keeps the llms.txt, sitemap, and getting-started links.

The status-page change added a guideline to website/AGENTS.md; pin its
digest with a presentation exemption and regenerate the assurance case
so the committed claims register agrees with the scanned guide.
