Summary of Changes

Hello @ymaheshwari1, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request updates the feature request issue template to leverage GitHub's YAML-based issue forms. This change aims to provide a more structured and user-friendly experience for submitting feature requests, ensuring all necessary information is collected efficiently and consistently, thereby improving the overall process of feature development.

Highlights

  • Issue Template Migration: The feature request issue template has been migrated from a Markdown file (FEATURE_REPORT.md) to a YAML-based GitHub Form (FEATURE_REPORT.yaml).
  • Structured Feature Requests: The new YAML template introduces structured input fields for motivation, acceptance criteria, and additional information, enhancing the clarity and completeness of feature requests.

Code Review

This pull request is a great improvement, migrating the feature request issue template from the legacy Markdown format to the modern YAML-based GitHub issue forms. This will provide a more structured and user-friendly way to submit feature requests. My review includes a couple of suggestions to further refine the new form. I've suggested changing a checkboxes input to a dropdown for a single-choice question to improve data integrity, and recommended removing a redundant placeholder attribute to clean up the template definition.
