I just noticed that v5.1 exists both as a branch and as a tag. IMO this should be avoided.

As discussed in the Darknet/YOLO discord, you should be checking out the branch like this:

git checkout --track origin/v5.1

I don't need help, I'm offering feedback. I really strongly recommend to avoid ambiguous references. It is an invitation for users to go wrong, and it is easily avoided.

The problem was observed while trying to use the tag in vcpkg's vcpkg_from_github portfile function. The port will not use git checkout.
