What

  • Added host_discovery_ipv6 as a new alive test for openvasd scans.
  • Passed the new alive test to openvasd using the new alive test methods struct.
  • Updated the openvasd scan setup to handle the new alive test.

Why

  • host_discovery_ipv6 is needed for the new IPv6 host discovery behavior.
  • It is only supported by openvasd.
  • This keeps gvmd aligned with the new gvm-libs openvasd target API.

related to: greenbone/gvm-libs#1081

Add `host_discovery_ipv6` as a new alive test bit for openvasd scans.

When `host_discovery_ipv6` is selected, it has priority over other alive test methods. The value is passed to gvm-libs through the new openvasd alive test methods struct.

This keeps the gvmd openvasd scan setup aligned with the new openvasd target API.
