Implemented a production-grade backend for the Agentic Commerce Platform as requested.

Features:

  • Architecture: LangGraph Hub-and-Spoke with an LLM-based Orchestrator.
  • Agents: specialized agents for Product Discovery, Cart Management, Checkout Readiness, Order Management, Payment Operations, and Fulfillment.
  • Tools: Robust Python wrappers for Adobe Commerce 2.4.8 REST APIs (add_to_cart, check_stock, refund_payment, etc.).
  • Guardrails: Enforced via environment variables (e.g., REQUIRE_STOCK_CHECK prevents adding out-of-stock items, ALLOW_ORDER_CANCEL controls policy).
  • State Management: Redis-backed state persistence for multi-turn conversations, including Cart ID tracking.
  • Config: 12-factor app compliant configuration using pydantic-settings.
  • Testing: Unit tests covering tool logic and guardrails.

The backend is located in the backend/ directory and exposes a POST /api/chat endpoint.
Dependencies are listed in backend/requirements.txt.
Design documentation is in backend/DESIGN.md.
