☹️ ... We have to ask them to create a new one with the email that isNOTassociated withESS account.

Dear DMSC Summer School student,
The start of our summer school is fast approaching, and we are thrilled to welcome you to Copenhagen!
Our first gathering will be the Welcome Reception on Sunday at 16:00, taking place at [${RECEPTION_PLACE_NAME}](${MAP_LINK}) (${PLAIN_TEXT_ADDRESS}) in Central Copenhagen.
More details can be found on [Indico](${SUMMER_SCHOOL_INDICO_PAGE}).
The week's timetable is available [here](${INDICO_TIMETABLE_ADDRESS}).
Trip to ESS, Lund, Sweden:
On Monday, we will travel to the ESS facility in Lund, Sweden.
${INSTRUCTION_WEHRE_WHEN_TO_MEET}
Please note that all participants are required to wear long pants (no shorts or skirts) and flat-soled shoes for the facility tour. Additionally, ensure you bring your passport (or another valid photo ID), as there may be border controls when crossing into Sweden.
Poster session:
For the poster session on Monday, students are required to bring a printed A0-sized poster in portraint orientation that corresponds to the abstract they have submitted.
School material:
The material for the school is available as an [online book](https://ess-dmsc-dram.github.io/dmsc-school/intro.html).
As all of our exercises will use Python, there will be some training / refresher on the first day, but if you have little experience with the language we suggest you take a look at the [python section](https://ess-dmsc-dram.github.io/dmsc-school/1-python/python_basics.html) of the material before departing for the school.
Pre-arrival setup:
For the exercises you will need to bring your own computer, but you won’t have to install the software as the exercises will be done through a browser. You will however need to create an ESS user account using ORCID ID.
You will soon receive a separate invitation email from our user-office. Get your ORCID ID ready (https://orcid.org/signin) and follow the instructions in the user-office invitation.
Further instructions will be shared in the Discord channel.
Discord server:
We have created a Discord server for the school. It is expected that most of the communication before and during the school will live there.
You can join the server by following this link: ${DISCORD_SERVER_LINK}
Please note that anyone with the link can join, so try not to share any sensitive information there.
Looking forward to meeting you all!
Best wishes,
The DMSC Summer School Team
