This feature is sadly lacking in Proton Bridge. This is surprising as it would make it easier for a lot of users to really commit to moving 100% to Proton. Myself included.
I'd be willing to post a bounty on to help get this feature completed .
@emeitner hello emeitner, hello @fabian-st .you can post a bounty in bountyhub it's integrated into github, (a bot will comment to let other people know that there is a bounty) and if no one solves your bounty you can retract it and get your money back
@omarsoufiane @emeitner
Anyway to mass add issues presently? I took a quick look, identified quite a few ways to improve BH. I am interested in contributing to this issue, BH.@llvee feel free to email me at omar@bountyhub.dev

@emeitner Hello, I've been working on getting CalDAV to work on this software. I wanted to know which CalDAV client you use so I could properly test if the feature is working on your client of choice, currently I've been able to get CRUD support at least using the GNOME Evolution client, and I'm willing to test on other clients as well.

I use Gnome Evolution on mobile and Thunderbird on desktop.
@omarsoufiane leaving that email here is probably not the best for security as you likely already may know.
@zCri are you on the Proton team?

Alright, it is currently working on Evolution so I'll try getting it to work on Thunderbird as well and then I'll make a PR.
chiming in to request it made to work with kde's KOrganizer/KAddressBook/Kontact
I've made a PR that implements the CalDAV functionality in #282.
chiming in to request it made to work with kde's KOrganizer/KAddressBook/Kontact
I briefly tested it on KOrganizer and it seems to work however further testing would be good
Reacted by skyeReacted by skyeReacted by skye@omarsoufiane hello, I was trying to import my PR onto the bounty page, but I am getting this error "This Pull Request if from a different repository". Is this intended and I need to wait for the PR to get merged, or is this a bug?
And also thanks for making a nice platform for bounties, that's how I found this repo in the first place 😄Reacted by omar soufiane and skye@zCri I'm going to check this right now thanks for letting me know

@emeitner I made a new commit on my fork to have more meaningful error messages with traces so I can see exactly where the openpgp message comes from, could you give it a try and send the request log?
On another note, do you have the following feature enabled on those calendars by any chance?

I haven't had the chance to test it yet and I am not sure if it could cause some issues with the end to end encryption implementation in this program and therefore cause some openpgp errors, please let me know.- added a commit that references this issue
on Nov 6, 2025 @emersion can I work on this issue.
I've decided to refuse any bounty on this project. Bounties foster a toxic environment with failed expectations and disappearing contributors.

on Mar 30, 2026 Oh well, there just can't be a week without a low-effort PR submitted to claim the stale bounty.
Let's just close this PR, it's way too much noise. I've opened a separate issue, in the hope that it won't be linked to the bounty: #340
Reacted by ymstnt, zCri and djsigmannReacted by ymstnt, Omair, zCri, Julia van der Kris and djsigmannI have submitted a PR (#352) that implements CalDAV support for hydroxide. This is a continuation of the work on the
caldavbranch. The implementation supports:- Calendar event listing, reading, creating, updating, and deleting
- Decryption of ProtonMail calendar events
- Integration with
hydroxide serveand standalonehydroxide caldav - CalDAV-compatible with any client (Thunderbird, macOS Calendar, etc.)
