Why

Each pinned checkout of a large monorepo is expensive. A worktree target reviews the agent's own checkout and creates none, so the authoring instructions should steer agents there.

What

One bullet in packages/review/instructions/authoring.md:

  • Prefer a worktree target for a change that lives in a checkout the agent has; commits only for fixed commits no checkout sits on (lower stack layers).
  • Create the board before any worktree it needs: start as project, then session_set_target to the worktree. set_target already moves boards across repositories.

No code changes.

Agents are told to review the checkout they work in with a worktree target,
which creates no checkout of its own, and to use commit targets only for
fixed commits no checkout sits on. A board can start as a project target
and move to the worktree with session_set_target once it exists.
