I'll look at it as soon as I can, but I've not really delved into that part of the code in a long time and I think there is at least one setting that can affect the number of columns that appear on the left, which could affect how the freezing works. I'd also need to check this doesn't break anything on a mobile browser, etc. I may get a chance to look at it in the next couple of weeks, but I'm pretty busy right now. |

I have added a css class with position: sticky to freeze the first column
The first column also needed a background color to hide the columns passing behind it.
