What does this PR do?

Show the default working directory in exec_command summaries when workdir is omitted.

Example: {"cmd":"pwd"} → ran pwd in .

How to test it

  • ./scripts/test.sh
  • ./scripts/lint.sh

Checklist

  • I have reviewed the contributing guidelines (CONTRIBUTING.md in the repository root).
  • I have added tests or explained why they are not needed. The existing multiline rendering test covers this case.
  • I have updated the documentation if needed. No documentation change is needed for this display fix.

Bits Code Review: PASS

More details

Omitted or empty workdir values now appear as “in .” in command summaries, without changing command execution. The static reviewer completed with no actionable findings.
