What Really Happened (WRH) is a 30-session, non-clinical psychoeducational curriculum designed to help adult participants understand trauma-driven behavioral loops, nervous-system adaptation, freeze responses, avoidance patterns, shame cycles, and executive-function disruption.
Built on a non-exposure, mechanism-first model, WRH allows participants to understand survival patterns without being required to disclose personal trauma, relive events, or participate in therapy-style processing.
Capitol Contracts LLC developed WRH to deliver practical, systems-level trauma education tools for settings where traditional approaches may fail to reach guarded, isolated, overloaded, or high-risk participants.
The mission is to provide a structured, repeatable, non-clinical education model that helps people recognize survival patterns, name what is happening inside the system, and practice safer interruption points before patterns escalate.
WRH is not therapy and does not replace licensed clinical care. It is designed as a psychoeducational support framework that can operate alongside existing recovery, peer-support, veteran-support, reentry, behavioral-health-adjacent, and community programs.
Status: Planned zero-cost pilot review and launch phase (2026)
Location: Hartman, AR (Residential Recovery)
Focus: Spaced repetition, peer pod integration, participant safety boundaries, and residential-specific implementation feedback.

WRH materials are non-clinical psychoeducational tools. They are not therapy, medical care, diagnosis, crisis care, legal advice, or a replacement for licensed professional support. Needs that exceed WRH scope should be routed through host-site procedures, approved support staff, crisis resources, or emergency services as appropriate.
