I'm an Associate Professor of Public Administration working at the intersection of collaborative governance, environmental policy, and data-driven public management. I'm currently teaching myself GIS and spatial analysis to push my methods toward geocomputation. 🌿🗺️

Right now I'm building a PostGIS database of U.S. data centers — siting, governance, regulatory environments, and public opposition — alongside ongoing work on oil and gas regulatory enforcement and collaborative governance in natural resource management.

• Multi-institutional research on data center siting, governance, and public opposition (Narrative Policy Framework analysis of public participation records, NVivo coding, PostGIS)
• Hopefully an NIJ-funded study on real-time crime centers and drone-as-first-responder programs across Orange County law enforcement agencies
• Predictive modeling of orphaned oil & gas wells using gradient boosting (AWS Agentic AI collaboration)
• Writing on disclosure and enforcement in fossil fuel extraction (Texas, Colorado, Pennsylvania)

• PostgreSQL + PostGIS for spatial analysis and database design
• Python and R for data modeling, NLP, and automation
• QGIS and geocomputation workflows
• Self-hosted infrastructure (Arch Linux, Docker) for research tooling and local LLM experimentation

• Empirical tests of collaborative governance models in environmental policy
