Intention

Document, in one place, what every mind map format and tool examined so far carries: file container, map content, representation forms (mind map, org chart, tree, fishbone, timeline, matrix/SWOT, brace, Gantt, concept map, outline, presentation, templates) and office integrations (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, other interchange). The page is a reference of established facts only: it deliberately neither ranks formats nor suggests any implementation priority — every "not integrated" cell is a status, not a verdict.

Réalisation

• New file docs/format-panorama.md (~19 KB, no code change). One single table, one column per tool (Cartocortex first, then the formats the repo reads or has open readers for, then the not-integrated ones), with zones as row groups: Format and status, Map content, Representation forms, Office and interchange.
• A four-level legend: ✓ confirmed (real file written by the tool, official documentation, or open-source reference implementation), ✓† documented application feature but file-format storage not publicly verifiable, ✗ absent, ? not publicly verifiable — no guess is made.
• Per-column caveats (what exactly could and could not be verified, per format), a "how each column was established" section, and the complete source list: the primary sources behind PRs Open and write FreeMind/Freeplane .mm maps #1/Open and write MindManager .mmap maps #3/Open and write WiseMapping .wxml maps #4/Open and write Mindomo .mom maps #5/Open and write iThoughts .itmz maps #6/Open and write SimpleMind .smmx maps #8 (Freeplane XSLT, WiseMapping serializers, real Mindomo Desktop 11 files, toketaWare + MultiMarkdown, the SimpleMind fixture + xmind2smmx + simplemind-mcp-server) plus official documentation pages (XMind, MindManager, Mindomo, SimpleMind, MindMeister, Coggle, Bubbl.us, Ayoa) and file-format registries.
• Cartocortex's column reflects what the repo has today and the only items the repo publicly states as "not yet" (XMind 8 import improvements, structure direction variants, the mobile port study); the "In Cartocortex" row names the open reader PRs and is dated 2026-10-18.

Ce que l'agent a fait

Gathered the format-level facts from the research write-ups of the six open format PRs, verified the tool-level facts against official documentation and public sources (web search), built the single-table panorama, and pushed the branch. The file was written locally, pushed through the tool channel, then re-read from GitHub and compared byte-for-byte. A second commit keeps the specification row to a plain documented / not documented statement.

Vérifications humaines

• Documentation only: no code, no tests, no CI impact. One new file, so no conflict with any open PR; can be merged independently and in any order.
• Read-through check: every ✓ in the table should be traceable to a source listed at the bottom of the page; every ? should be a place where a source could not be found.
• The statuses (open PR numbers, application maintenance status) are dated 2026-10-18 and will drift over time; the page says so up front.
