Review HIP encoding template

To create a new HIP-in-RDF:

1. make a copy of the template
2. open it in a text editor, e.g. Notepad, Wordpad, or Visual Studio Code (not MSWord)
3. Replace all the {fields in braces including the braces} with data from a HIP document
4. Save with a new name

This file https://github.com/codata/hip-data/blob/main/rdf/hip.ttl shows 6 examples, based on the original data in https://github.com/codata/hip-data/tree/main/original

(For the technically inclined, it uses this ontology https://github.com/codata/hip-ont/blob/main/owl/hipo.ttl , which is a minor extension of SKOS. )

Thanks, Simon. I see that now. The ‘view it on GitHub’ is presented in smaller, grey text in the signature so is easy to overlook (at least in the way my client presents it). If that is the action needed then some change in this e-mail would be necessary. The other links work - I had an issue with my password, but it’s strange that I was getting 404s rather than a redirect to update my password. S.

The mail is sent by GitHub – we have no control over its presentation. But that points out that more training required.

Github is pretty brutal if you don’t have permissions – pretends it doesn’t exist. IMHO this is a misuse of HTTP error codes (it should be 401, not 404), but again, no control.
